Is that the guy that was “off the rails” and suspended due to his toxic posts ?
No, the other one who up till the 1st Cats/Tigers game was apparently fat, lazy and pilloried by the Tiger faithful for those characteristics, but got subbed on very early against Geelong at K.P and turned into a tackling machine who was fast and fit. Have to admit he has turned his season around. It's the Port one who was the toxic poster.

Haven’t seen the Stewart incident. Only two questions that matter are:

1. Did he elect to bump?
2. Did he make high contact?

Don’t bother with “nothing in it” etc. These questions is how it will be decided.
I don't think it would be called a bump. He's chasing the ball and (barely) braces for contact against Rioli who was second to the contest. The contact didn't come from his shoulder but his hip as he was moving past him.

So number 1 is a no for me and he's playing week 1

H&A 2nd and into finals again, and no injuries -all things to celebrate but …

Never thought I’d say it after a comfortable win, but let’s put that game behind us and move on… that was as bad a 6 goal win you can get.

Sure, dominant first half but even then some dreadfully wasteful kicking, unnecessary ‘flirting with form’. Love Danger, but some awfully sloppy efforts from him. Wasn’t alone. Lots of delayed and screamingly telegraphed handballs and kicks over the head.

Although the Tigers run and pressure really lifted after half time , that was woeful Geelong half, with noticeable lack of two way running. Opened up through the middle way too easily. Looked like they were tired from something like additional training load or perhaps there was a mass pre-finals fear of pinging hamstrings.

Smith never stopped running, Atkins kept up his usual intensity, Henry and Stewart focused and generally solid, Stengle threatening, but otherwise the intensity was generally lacking. Anything like that effort will get us smacked out of the park in September.

Really worried about SDK - completely misjudged and fluffed some easy marks and looks exposed one on one. Need him, as COS not ready for the power forwards.

Neale and MOC back will help, but hopefully that lack of intensity and sharpness was pre-finals caution or an anomaly.

Smart to bring in bews with either the hawks smalls or Charlie Cameron coming up. Clever foresight

Good point. I'm starting to think Bews has got a bit more going for him than Bowes, irrespective of Bowes multi positioning. Bowes can run hot and cold. Dependant on opposition, Bews might just yet hang on.

And you can have a lollipop for not saying “nothing in it”.

If Geelong does not address the inaccurate goal kicking that has plagued the team the last six or so weeks they will be exposed in the finals by quality opposition.

Stengle has been the worry for me for a little while now, he's generally been a dead-eyed-dick. If I wanted someone kicking for my life, it's been him for a few years now. That mantle has now gone to Neale.

Yeah exactly. It can't be rough conduct because he's first to the ball and doesn't deviate or brace or anything. Rioli attempts to tackle him if anything with a poor technique.

Upon viewing the Fox Replay, 100% confident Stewart has nothing to answer for on that last moment in the game where he glanced Rioli. Shame for Richmond fans to end the season with disappointment.

Interesting. People are talking about our easy run into the finals this year, but looking back, we had a similar ‘easy’ run in 2022. That worked out ok..
I've posted this elsewhere, but an easy run with one solid workout (e.g. Sydney) is definitely the way to go.

(by ladder position of opponent)

That's not going to stop that egregious little shit Jon Ralph from lobbying for Stewart to be suspended, or the mouth-frothers on the main board from toothlessly asserting a conspiracy when he's cleared.
