Played well for a few games when he came in, in the middle of the year then was injured.
Alas yes - although it's a divided opinion. Can't take that premiership medal from him, though. Lawson Humphries probably killed off his hopes of getting a regular gig in defence.

Tigers fans aren't happy the Cats didn't stick around to see off Kamdyn McIntosh.

He was putting on his own personal farewell tour at the other end

I did chuckle when they said we had no class and cited they formed a guard of honor for GAJ

Send that to Kane Cornes he'll blow his top!

Well none of us thought anything about Neale's bump last week either, so we can't rule anything out.
Noticed in background watching replay
Re-watched twice, to see if problematic
Umpire moved backward in Neale's path
Glancing blow, ump stumbled forward
Thought Small Fine as for similar contact.
Not surprised Cats get harsher penalty
AFL Equalization Policy = 2 Tier Justice

I've seen Tigers fans comparing yesterday's situation of a fan favourite who's played his last game ahead of being delisted as being the same thing as Ablett retiring

Full credit to Richmond for helping to form the guard of honour for Ablett & the class shown in removing their premiership medals, but yesterday was a totally different situation - and no we're not "still" jealous of their 2020 premiership which is why we walked off

It doesn't take much to offend those stupid nuffies, and they're wishing us all sorts of failure. He wasn't that interested in us, when we all went to congratulate him. Danger went in for the hug but didn't get it. Big Tigg ran down to thank their their fans, fair enough. Probably didn't want our fanfare, especially (at 31) if he moves on to Weagles or someone. Next year we'd be like- didn't we just clap you off?

Gee Bews is going to be bloody stiff. Played a good game and unfortunately likely he will get dropped.

Every time Bews plays he rearly plays a stinker of a game

He is stiff but apart from certain talls we need for structural reasons hes not an upgrade on any of the smalls in the 23m he can be an emergency though.

Agreed out of our defence he isn't replacing SDK, COS or Henry as they play tall

And all of Zuthrie, Humphries and Stewart are simply better smaller players.

He would only really come in if we decided we wanted more coverage on smalls instead of Bowes/MOC flexibility which is extremely unlikely knowing our coaching group.

Yeah I agree with that. Only bowes and moc could be the spots he would take but both of them are marginally better and if it was line ball both have more versatility with the roles they can play whereas you would really only have bews for someone specific like a Watson or Charlie Cameron because he can't play any other role.

Bowes is our ultimate barometer
Not sure why but when he's playing well we're winning games
People use the term 'versatile'.

And it's not just positional. He has the ability to change the style of his play mid game.
Maybe he becomes a stoppage worker, a floater across half back, or a goal sneak.

He can definitely read the play better than most. I like him a lot. Underrated. He's a strong piece of the puzzle.
