What I wonder is how we will look when Cameron eventually retires at 38.
We'll probably have to move Blitz to FF.

Really good to see confidence in going for marks and less hesitant disposal choices. He has improved since having a role. That was an excellent passage of play. He is versatile + agile. Good footy brain too. It’s exciting to see players find a role to suit their strengths.
Will he remain when Kolo returns?![]()

I think they have different strengths Kitty. Kolo is better suited to the medium talls, can have problems with the monster forwards and the faster, more agile fwds are too quick for him. O'Connor is needed for those smaller fwds, although he can also do well against the mediums. With Collingwood as an example, we could play Kolo on Mihocek or Elliot (but not Wood or Hill), and O'Connor on Hill or Elliot. He has improved since having a role. 11 coaches votes to 9 for the Geelong vs Bulldogs midfield. We struggle for depth there, but our young guns Holmes and Smith are putting in some serious work.Neale's first ever coaches vote?

I certainly did let it go….but if you want a comment. Should anyone who is not an expert be able to comment on anything . Women should not comment on footy ..they haven’t played it. In fact 99% of people have no right to comment on football..as they have not played it at the afl level. Don't comment on a movie if you are not a movie maker ..dont comment on babies if you have never had one… Walk thru an art gallery and make no comment as you have no real knowledge of anything you see? Are you saying no one should comment on anything if they are not an expert on it ?
MOC could be the replacement mid for TB. There has to be room for both.He has improved since having a role. That was an excellent passage of play. He is versatile + agile. Good footy brain too. It’s exciting to see players find a role to suit their strengths.

Bowes is improving, and can play a number of positions capably. That increases his currency in a Chris Scott team.MOC could be the replacement mid for TB. There has to be room for both.
And I'd prefer him to Bowes if there had to be a choice, but each to their own.

You saying he might return exonerated to the fold, or that he is not needed? All recent intel suggests we may not have a need to replace TB.

Was just starting to look like becoming a solid part of our MF.
Its one of those things with the Dogs, they have been on the wrong side of the free kick count a couple of times this year and their supporters cry foul but then every dogs game I have seen Libba throws the ball at LEAST 5 times, and then you have other players who "flick pass" as well, or quite a few incorrect disposal FKs not paid.Just watching the replay. The cats certainly received a couple of soft frees, but I can’t believe how many times the dogs dropped the ball or lost it in a tackle with no free kick paid. I think I’ve counted about 10 so far and I’m only half way through the third quarter. They definitely can’t (and shouldn’t) complain about the free kick differential.

Agreed. Further to this, my memory from watching the match is that the one free kick that got paid for dropping the ball was ironically against us (Jez on the HFF at the river end).Just watching the replay. Average can always be useful until better comes along. All teams benefit from role players who don’t set the stats sheet on fireHe's a very average footballer.
If he has not been replaced in the coming 18 months, something's gone wrong.
Won them a GF, why change? Its one of those things with the Dogs, they have been on the wrong side of the free kick count a couple of times this year and their supporters cry foul but then every dogs game I have seen Libba throws the ball at LEAST 5 times, and then you have other players who "flick pass" as well, or quite a few incorrect disposal FKs not paid.
Make of it what you will. But according to this article, Jack is our club's most telling barometer. When he plays well, we normally win...He's a very average footballer.

FROM high impact dynamos to big goalkicking forwards, some players carry their whole side with them when they're in top form.
They are the good omen players; when they play well, your club normally wins.
So, who is that player at your club?

Jack Bowes - +4.7
Jeremy Cameron - +4.4
Shannon Neale - +4.2
