And yet they will happily cheer players who left other clubs to join Crows

Two of their very best in Dawson and Rankine were developed by other clubs. The irony...

You can see all the little things now, and how Baz is becoming part of the club - off and on the field. Was worried a little bit at the start, but the address before the game last week, sticking up for Axe on field, the back and forth between him and Holmesy, the roar after his goal and everyone getting around him, and the final creme-de-la-creme being annoyed by how Danger's being treated and giving it right back to the supporter in question - he's a Geelong boy now!

Confirms what I've thought for a while now too, that Bevo is probably one of the main reasons why people with any sort of personality or differences, don't last long at the Dogs.
You only need to say how well both Macrae at the Saints and Daniel at the Roos are going to know it's a Bevo problem

Peatling with a 1 game suspension for his tackle on Mullin - got lucky that Mullin is a tough little bugger than played on

"Obscene gesture" they're having a laugh surely.

Baz can cop a fine if the feral Adel supporter gets their membership stripped.

When are they going to start getting serious about "fans" yelling obscenities at players (often their own) when they're walking back down the race.

Tbf, Macrae used to be good at the dogs once upon a time. He just couldn't break back into the midfield. Daniel prob similar.
Macrae isn't doing anything different now then he was at the Dogs, and boy how the Dogs would love to have him now with their midfield issues. Dude is an accumulator, depending on your midfield they can be good to have.

But now we have Smith who is getting a lot of the pill and is very damaging with it, Macrae wouldn't work for us.

But knowing what we know now with Bruhn, it Macrae was 28 when he left the Dogs I would have wanted us to get him and Smith.

He gets a lot of the ball, and if he is then giving it to a Smith or Holmes who are very damaging by foot then thats an improvement for us.

The Dogs were dumb to let him go and he showed why against us the other week.

I imagine part of the issue is and in speculating a bit.. they may have needed to free up cap space to retain bont and at the time probably were thinking ahead for JUH next contract.

That's a badge of honour for Bailey in my book.👍
"You can't talk shit to the skipper"

Deserves the fine and they do crack down on some (racist) remarks by banning the perpetrator.

Unlike us the players the Bulldogs have let go seem to go pretty bloody well in their new homes.

I might pop the replay on, couldn't concentrate much watching last night at the pub, one does tend to miss things.
I've watched again. I thought Atkins was good first time but he was immense on 2nd viewing. Hardly got a mention on the Fox commentary but good to see BT giving him his dues on 7.

dont want to pour cold water on it but is it a worry we always seem to need dangerfield to provide the inspiration, the ignitor for guys to follow. i say this knowing tom atkins was the best on ground this game, just seem we need a spark and is always the captain.

the guy is 35, cant expect him to play every minute of every game.

Could’ve said the same about Selwood.
That’s what a captain is for. It’s not all the time, but when we need him, he’s there
