I've heard Adl fans are worse than Port's.

Absolutely rabid.
The only thing about crows fans is that, being the first SA team, they became the default for casual fans that don't quite know the game. That has translated into a culture of basically yelling nonsense at umpires.

It's annoying at first but after a while it gets quite funny.

I think you'd have to be pretty thin skinned to get intimidated at a crows match

I don't recall any serious issues last year when we played Adelaide - before, during or after the game

It's a crazy large crowd that's walking back towards the city after the match and folks were good, didn't matter what colours you were wearing

Overly critical. We just had a superb win and OH going back to VFL will teach him nothing abouit getting used to playing in a forward line with Danger there. Give him time and enjoy the win.,
I don’t think Ollie Henry is a Geelong footballer until he plays more selflessly. Tom Hawkins kicks as many goals as Matty Lloyd if he wasn’t a class bloke.

The best crowd ever I found was the SCG crowd. They srsly just cgaf 🤣

(I was there twice for two Geelong wins)

Shout out to Stengle too. Easy to think he had little influence due to not hitting the scoreboard. But he had three direct goal assists late in the second quarter to keep us in touch at HT.

First, shaking off a tackle at half forward and perfectly weighting a pass to Dangerfield that could only result in a mark or a free kick.

Then, a deft knock on to Neale for a goal.

Finally, a pass from Jezza went over his head, but Stengle gathered, escaped a tackle and got the ball out to Dempsey to handballed to Bowes for a goal.

A great 10 minutes that allowed us to go into the break with the momentum.

One thing I have really enjoyed about this year is that I feel like Dangerfield is finally getting the appreciation he has always deserved from Geelong fans.

I believe that, coming in while we still had strong memories of Geelong's best-ever team, with possibly the best player ever to play the game, we didn't really appreciate what we actually had in Dangerfield across 2016-2019. The same goes with his leadership attributes, coming after Joel Selwood. Just because Dangerfield wasn't earmarked as Geelong captain from age 18, doesn't make him a bad captain.

Danger got marked harshly IMO because he came across in mid-career, as a ready-made star, who often tried to carry the team because he had to. It's only now, that his career is a year-to-year proposition, that I think we're realising how privileged we have been to watch this man play in hoops.

They need to realise he's a short pocket rocket. And not capable of marking sandwiched in between two giant crows, must be frustrating for him, and an injury risk.
Holmes one of the guilty on kick out, there, but it's a common enough situation for our players to be told - check the room around Tyson first.

Troubling news for Bailey Smith. Looks like he's staring down the barrel at a $1000 fine for flipping the bird (same as Harley Reid - his team mate at Geelong next year).

For a bloke on north of $600k a year, multiple commercial arrangements and over 350,000 followers on socials, I think we need to consider some sort of Go Fund Me type solution to help Bailey avoid bankruptcy.

Dead set - he strikes me as the type of bloke who would cop $1000 every week if it came down to whether he supported his team mates when they cop abuse. Particularly if it's Dangerfield copping it. Those two have formed a great bond it seems. I love the angry edge this bloke brings to his game, and our team. You can tell already that he's Geelong through and through and just loves the joint and the people.

As Dangerfield has remarked a few times - "I think we've been good for Bailey and I think Bailey's been good for us"
