Ian Nankervis

That is correct.

Gary Ablett kicked 3 goals in the Qualifying Final, then 7 in the First Semi, 8 in the Preliminary and 9 in the Grand Final.

Yes, congratulations. But it wasn't 3,558 - I said regular season. ;) Still, the season 1992 is correct. ;) It was ahead of 1989 by around 100.

Fair enough, but that's what the source said. ;)

Relatively minor semantics aside, :p here's the next question...

How many club Best & Fairest honours did the great Gary Ablett win at Geelong?

Ok, my question is:

Which opponent of Geelong was held to the lowest score? What was the score? Who was it against? What year was it?

vs Fitzroy we scored 0.8:8 in 1899 at Corio Oval.

p.s your question is confusing, so I presume that's what you meant.

1899: Sectional Round 3-

Geelong 23.24(162) def St. Kilda 0.1(1)

Why did you ask who it was against? Of course it was against Geelong! That's like saying: Geelong beat Port on Sunday, but who lost? ;)

This is turning into the Brandon and 'mo show, but here's the next question.

Geelong were the first team to reel in a 3/4 time deficit of over six goals and win. Who was the opponent, and in what year?
