Gary Ablett - 242 games, 1021 goals

Ablett played 6 games at Hawthorn and kicked 9 goals, therefore, I reckon he kicked 1012 goals at Geelong.
Gary Ablett, by my book, has kicked 1021 goals for Geelong.

Your question now, ScouseCat...

I'm 150% sure that I'm correct, so I'll post the next question...

Out of the 300 games that John "Sammy" Newman played for the Geelong Football Club, how many games did he serve as its captain?

LOL! I read it as how many seasons! ;)

I'll have a stab and say 30 games?

you_idiot is sitting right next to me, he says that answer is still incorrect. Although, a clue is that it is just a little bit higher

Name 4 players to have played for Geelong and at least 3 other league clubs

Adrian Fletcher is one (Brisbane Bears, Brisbane Lions & Freo), I'm finding it hard enough to think of players who have played for two other clubs, at least if you discount reserves, under 19's etc.

Adrian Fletcher actually played for St Kilda, Brisbane and Fremantle.

I can't think of any others at this stage.

The closest that I can think of is Justin Murphy who went Richmond-Carlton-Geelong-Carlton.

To get there we might have to include SANFL, WAFL clubs for players picked up when it was still the VFL. Well unless someone can come up with some obscure players from days gone by.

Just a wild guess out of left field, but what about Mark "Jacko" Jackson?

He played for at least three clubs, including Geelong, but did he play for four in all?

Mark Jackson - Richmond, St Kilda, Melbourne and Geelong.

How about that! I guess the the blind squirrel ocassionally gets the acorn, huh? ;)

How are we doing on this question, so far? We've collectively gotten two out of four, by my unofficial tally...

Rex Hunt - Richmond, St Kilda, Geelong and Sandringham (VFA). :D

Here's some other names which come to mind but not sure about...

Garry Sidebottom - St Kilda, Fitzroy, Geelong, ???
Kevin Ablett - Hawthorn, St Kilda, Geelong, Richmond???
Mario Bortolotto - St Kilda, Carlton, Geelong, ???

http://afl.com.au/default.asp?pg=aflrecords&spg=display&articleid=10496

Ted Baker - Carlton, Collingwood, Geelong, Footscray
George Dougherty - Carlton, Geelong, Footscray, South Melbourne
Adrian Fletcher - Geelong, St Kilda, Brisbane, Fremantle
Vic Nankervis - Geelong, Footscray, St Kilda, South Melbourne

I'm 150% sure that is the correct answer, so lets move onto the next question.

Who's shoulders did Gary Ablett climb to take this sensational mark at the MCG back in 1994??

That's spot on Catattack, who could forget that awesome mark from Ablett and Bruce Macavaney's excitement in the commentry box as the great man rose above Pert to take mark of the year. :D

How many AFL Reserves grade premierships did Geelong win?
**NOTE: This does NOT include last year's VFL premiership.**

Yep, 13 is correct!

And we have won the most of any AFL/VFL club, second to Melbourne with 12.
