You are correct Benrick. In the big win over Footscray Doug Wade's 11th goal of the match was his 100th of the season.

How many times have geelong won after the siren?

There was a game in the late 1960's at Kardinia Park when Geelong beat Collingwood with a kick after the siren. In fact, the umpire hadn't heard the siren as Billy Ryan kicked for goal and it was touched by the man on the mark. However, the umpire awarded a 15 yard penalty and Ryan kicked the goal amoungst hundreds of people who'd spilled onto the ground.

As far as your question is concerned, I have absolutely no idea.

I know there was 2 in the 1994 Finals Series, Brownless and Ablett kicking the winning goals, and one last year with Peter Riccardi's goal, so I'll say 4 times.

How about a clue, perhaps give us a couple of other games which aren't mentioned above. I'm assuming that the four games I mentioned count in your total, meaning it's more then four.

ok fine, i cant see anyone finding the answer, it is 5 times...

the 5th time came in round 20 1972, when kevin newland kicked a point after the siren to beat collingwood.

I'll ask another question now...

What is so special about Gerald O'Loughlin's career?

Andrew Bews

That is correct.

Andrew Bews got the first kick in the 1989 Grand Final and kicked it to Gary Ablett who marked and goaled, all this while Mark Yeates ran from the wing to flatten Dermott Brereton.

Was it the charge of the Blight brigade and Blighty and Bourke holding up the premiership cup.
