Hey gang.
My mate and I are heading over to Perth for the Cats game in June - just wondering if any of the crew here had any advice on the best way of obtaining tickets to the game.
Ticketmaster says the tickets are on sale June 9th, is it usually difficult to purchase via the website for eagles games at Subiaco?
OR
There's an official function with a guaranteed ticket, but it's somewhat pricey at $170 per head....
Any advice for obtaining tickets for some out of state Cats fans?

As I am the mate referred to above, can i also ask for suggestions on good places to stay when going to the game? I have heard Northbridge and West Perth are handy locations to see the sights of Perth/Freo, get to the ground, go into the city and has a bit of decent night life.

Perhaps our West Cat fans can assist or those that have made the trip across before. Any advise would be greatly appreciated... :thumbsu:

Whats your Budget?

Best place to stay would be in the City itself, catch the train from Wellington Street to Leederville. Then walk to Subi.

Nightlife wise, hit Subi straight after the game and then Leederville after that.

Northbridge is a dirty place.

Thanks for the local knowledge Trump - much appreciated

Don't suppose you can recommend a good, reasonably classy backpackers place to stay in the CBD?

Cant say I do, but if you're only here for the game it shouldnt matter where you stay. Footy then party.

Sleep if you have to.

Just google it.

try the cheer squad. My husband went over, with his 3 brothers for the Freo game. Ann from the cheer squad was very helpful. He sat second row from the front.
The email address to contact her is gfccheersquad@hotmail.com.

Is there no tix remaining for members, because that's how I got mine?
