yup that was a good win. geelong wasted so many free's. the umpiring was totally and uterlly screwed up it was all biased towards the cats. it's a shame that they lost to tigers. I'm worried about the demons game and eagles game. We can do it we have a world class side

If the game against Melbourne was based on current form, you'd say that the Swans would win, perhaps quite comfortably. We also have a good record against the Eagles up here in Sydney (7 of the last 8 i believe) but this Eagles side is playing better than any of the other times they've been here in recent times. It will be a cracking game. Then Adelaide at AAMI stadium. A definate tough game and one that i am not as confident as the previous 2 games. Tough 3 weeks ahead.

Before the Geelong match, i said i'd like to win 2 of the next 4, but based on the Geelong game i think we could push for 3 out of 4. Geelong may have had key players missing, but there is no reason why we can't win against 2 of the Demons, Eagles and Crows if we play the way we did.

 what a differance a week makes well done Swannies.
To all you cats fans if only is not an excuse for losing ok so you had 10 players out, is the depth of Cats list so bad? i suppose it is if you look at the VFL results.
i enjoy watching the cats play but for christsake a loss is just a loss there's always next week.
If you had 10 star players out....oh wait you dont have 10 good players sorry.

Which of those ten star players didn't play when Collingwood beat you?

Swans if you had 10 of your first 18 out, you'd be struggling as well and you know it, but on that note, Swans arent great to watch but good outfit and all they could do was beat the team that the cats put on the park. Good lucky to the Swans for the rest of the year.

Better put, Kegs, than lingface.

Anyteam with top 10 players out would struggle, look at our game against Port Last year. It was almost a 2nds team. And yes we got flogged that day.

Cats have been an awesome outfit this year. Will go well, if they cope wel with the finals pressure.

LOL Must suck to get handed your ass on a plate by such a ******** team
that call by lingy might have been a bit harsh mate but I think last w'end proved to everyone that the cats are not near as bad as the performance they put in 2 w'ends ago v the swans. it just goes to show what can happen when you get a few players back.

on an even playing field and with both teams having their best 22 in logic would say that the cats are a better team than the swans. who knows?? - we may find out come september...

I dont think the Cats should be too affected by the loss to the Swans, it was a while back now, yes. But once the Cats get their better players back on the pitch which they are starting to do now, they will definately be one of the teams to watch during the finals. I have no doubt.

How do you work that one out?

I fully realise that the Cats are a much better team than their showing against the Swans but am curious on your 'logical' deduction.

Man, I am SO glad that you are not a Swans supporter. That is really really weak.

Why is this thread still kicking on? Jaysus! The game is nearly two weeks old! Both the Cats and the Swans have important games this weekend.

In your time of trouble? Let it go, let it go...
