Classical singing mostly. Anything from Bach/Mozart/etc to music theatre, though my best stuff is music theatre. It's just a hobby at the moment, though I wouldn't mind actually doing something with it in the future. I have been taking the singing AMEB exams, which start at grade 2 and go up to grade 8. I'm doing grade 8 this year so after that I was thinking I might take some acting classes and then look at doing some music theatre. It's great fun though and being a teacher myself it's actually useful to learn how to use your voice properly.
Nice one. Can't sing a note, personally, but I dated a girl for a while who was heavily into the amateur musical theatre scene and she absolutely loves it. Looked like a fair but of fun if you're into that stuff, and always struck me as a brilliant way to meet girls.
Not something I thought I'd be discussing on a footy board though haha.

But yeah, it would be alot of fun. I just don't have enough time at the moment is all, so I mostly just do it for a hobby. Used to play piano for over a decade but eventually it all got too hard so I went to singing instead.
But yeah, the ability to project your voice or hit the inflection in your voice that you want is seriously useful both in controlling a class and in getting a point across. Plus, it's fun when students are talking in the class to not even have to tell them to shut it, just projecting your voice right at them and they quickly get the message
