Ehh average race, unsurprising result but no fill up
Yeah you canWas beaten 0.3 of a length in the Turnbull and carried 56.5 kgs and VE carried 55.5kgs.
Tomorrow Dalasan gets 52.5kgs and VE is carryng 56.5....
Any old age horseman will tell you 1 kg in weight on your back roughly equates to 1 length.
Now the barrier is a concern but going off just the Turnbull run alone and with the difference in weights there is no way you can say that Dalasan can't win or at least beat VE home.
Close afWin: Dyke / VE
Place: Finche MOW
Smokies: V&D Mirage Dancer Mustajeer
Accurate afMy thoughts are the Aussie 4yos are being a bit overrated here. Dalasan got close to Camelot in SA Derby but Camel was barely a month past two years of age when that race was on. Camel has come back an even better horse now he is 3.5yrs. Dalasan isn't getting smoked by a 2yo and 6 months later winning a Caulfield Cup. Camel sat 3 wide and destroyed him a couple starts ago when dalasan had some race fitness and a good run which shows the improvement.
Warning is even worse than Dalasan.
Toffee Tongue didn't go around a horse in the Turnbull. While that may happen again here so she might go close she still isn't much chop and will get found out sooner or later.
Unsurprising yet you didnt rate her Turnbull win?Ehh average race, unsurprising result but no fill up
If everyone had your vindictive streak after the race has been run this board would not exist because people wont contribute any opinions because of the after the fact chest beating like you display.
That's Finche every start. Somewhere 3-6 wide no cover the trip lobbing into 5th-3rd at the end. Rinse and repeatFinche ran a massive race considering. Caught wide the trip coming up to the leaders at the turn and got the meat in a sandwich treatment got a nice crunch in there
