Anyone else concerned about the apparent non-signatures of our younger players...

or could it be that it has not been announced.

I as yet have not heard anything about the re-signing of Murphy, Grigg, Anderson, Hampson, Fisher, of course Fevola etc.

Coming off a win like last week, surely some of the boys would think twice about leaving, or am i in denial....

Collingwood only 2 weeks ago announced that i think it was 5 of their younger players had re-signed.

Who is out of contract that we know of anyone...

Come on Swanny, Icke, Pratt & players, get your $hit together and get it done. I dont want anyone tapping into all the hard work we have done to get to where we are going.

yeah im a little confused at why it hasnt happened yet..
a little worrying but im sure Greg Swans working on it as we speak .. or at least i hope so

You sure you want that to happen?

No Troll

I know Hampson wants to sign for 3 years which was offered to him. But his manager wants him to sign for 2.

I'll leave it to you to workout why his manager would advice that

but he wants to sign and commit to Carlton:thumbsu:

Yeah makes complete sense that both the player and the club are happy with a time frame, yet the manager only wants a 2 year contract to perhaps get him up to the GC when the time comes. Hey ive got some news... Like Chris Bryan said in the article just written about him, you need to secure your future. Its business...

Stupid story

TBH , I cant see why any of them would want to leave a team with a very promising future lead by Ratten and captained by Judd . Morale is high now that they are winning games and there will be plenty of opportunity for them all . Definately wont be a mass exodus at the end of the year .

Not concerned at all. Not with who we have in charge. We'll keep who we want to keep. Plus the team is a very close group, so no, I'm not concerned.

lol yeah you get my point, damn every1 on my case with the spelling today

The Herald Sun writes re-sign as resign all the time in their headings (just to get me in) so maybe you are right but then again it is the Little Paper :thumbsu:

Fisher I can see being an issue, given that he will be negotiating on past form, but his current form isn't super.

I have faith in Icke, Swann and Pratt that the club will retain those that it wishes to.

Name me the last Carlton player to leave that went on to a bigger and better career?

Massie is the only one I can think of, and he's not exactly a superstar.
Hamill is debatable.

The fact is we don't let good players go.:thumbsu:

Hamill hardly got on the park! Karma's a bitch! :D

Can't imagine which other team a young up and comer would want to play for. If you are getting a regular game at Carlton right now it's pretty obvious the ride is about to hit overdrive.
