Geez what a tough pitch this is looking like now

Thank god it's nearly footy season as our cricket team has become a disgusting, pathetic rabble again.
We must have kept our talent in our whites. Since we've changed to the pyjamas we've been all over the shop.

Still, I'll cop 100 ODI series losses if we keep winning Tests.

You'd think the sky were falling in, with the way people are carrying on here. Yes, we're having a shocker. No, that doesn't make us a rabble of a team yet. We're halfway into the tournament and one point off the lead. Hands off the panic switch for now.

Haha cricinfo

"You're right. Wade's been rubbish. He's actually been making some runs. What Australia needs is Brad Haddin who just recently made a 4 ball duck for NSW. Without him, Australia will get too many runs and become complacent in the field. Bring Brad Back!" Aye, Damon.

You're a funny one, even games Australia wins are failures unless we were 0/100 after the first 15 overs.

Lee shouldn't have played tonight, he's good when he's on but he's obviously not good to go.

At least this makes the tri-series more interesting. Punter should just focus on tests really, playing this badly will just stuff his confidence.

I was listening to the ABC and the NSW Boys' Club of Kerry O'Keefe and Geoff Lawson were talking up Starc as the brightest star in the Australian sky, with all the other bowlers basically being dismissed as chumps.

Starc's been hot-and-cold all through the series and got spanked around tonight. Whereas McKay's been far and away our best pace bowler as he's been several times, yet never seems to be rated.

In some ways this is a second string bowling attack, apart from Doherty so they are doing ok really. If Bolly, Johnson, Cummins and Harris, maybe even Pattinson were fit, it would be interesting to see who was up for the spots.

Hastings was also in the mix till he wrote his summer off.

The batsmen are the worry. Warner has yet to do anything of mark in this format, so much embarrassing hype for so little return. Wade is new, Punter is 37 and it is early days for Christian and Forrest. It is a very inexperienced line-up.

The Hussey bros are alright.

Mckay has been carrying the bowling, moderately economical, and taking wickets, not much else you can do.

going for 5 an over is good when you are taking wickets at 20.
