I'd say Norf too but Sooz would be unbearable if they won a flag.
So would I :p

I think I've asked you this before but I'm curious. Why do you hate St Kilda? It confuses me because we are harmless. And that's not a good thing. I always think its strange when someone admits their hatred for us because its like we mean something to you if you want us to fail so badly. Or is it just the "culture" we have? Why do St Kilda fans "not deserve" to win a flag?

FWIW, I'm happy for any team to win a flag be it GWS or Freo or any of those fellow battlers.
I've got nothing against St Kilda, but I couldn't stand them from about 2009-2011. So many annoying bandwagoners around that time who acted as though they'd won the last 5 flags in a row. They've all jumped off now.

I've never been one to wish success on a club simply because they haven't had much of it though (which is what many neutrals are doing now with the Bulldogs), it's not like they're owed anything.

If you search my post history you'll see a post fairly early on that was aimed at St Kilda supporters telling them to settle down and all that shit - I certainly wasn't one of those bandwagoners. I must admit, it was around 11-12 I started to jump off bigfooty (co-incidentally around the time Mister TripleC stopped his 225 days) and only the last six months I've been back on bigfooty, hence my Post to Like ratio is really poor. (I could only dream of having one like Penal's for instance) At the start of the year, I was on about 3500 posts and only 80 likes. Now I'm up to 4000 and nearly 2000 respectively. Still shit but not as bad.

I used to be such a wanker of a poster - deliberately getting on the bad side of my fellow Saints fans to appeal to fans of other clubs and not come across so "one eyed" - for example, Plugger used to think I was a knob (he may still think I'm a knob, but I'm less of a knob now) as did many others out there like Quixote and It Was a Good Day.

I think I have a better understanding of how this site works now and to be a St Kilda supporter, you can't take things too seriously or you'll just end up making an idiot out of yourself.

PLus I'm like the Exers ambassador and probably one of the most prolific posters in that thread now so I'm obviously a lot more likeable than I used to be.

I'm still a big campaigner though.

How come its okay for Morgs to hate on The Bulldogs for being a shit footy club but not me and The Aints ?.

Things like Hamill and Goddard still annoy me till this day .. Oh and years i was at a reserves game between Carlton and St.Kilda at Moorabbin and was mouthing off crap to few Saints VFL players, and Robert Harvey and Max Hudghton were nearby and got a bit funny (aka Jimmies Rustled) about my behaviour, never forget that, I got so annoyed that i wanted to fight that tosser Maxy (who honestly was a jerk)

I don't think there is any Saints fan on this forum that deserves to see a flag, at any rate, you all seem to come across as pills with a chip on the shoulder.

I was just asking. I wasn't saying its not okay. It's perfectly valid. It doesn't really bother me but I'm always curious, fascinated even. the reasons you and NL brought up are fair enough though. I used to hate the St Kilda supporters on this site for that very reason.

I do think the comment about none of us deserving to win a flag is a bit harsh. Cooksen seems like a pretty cool bloke. Also, just a little memo to people who think we have a chip on our shoulder - try supporting us for 29 years and experiencing what we have instead of what you have and maybe you'll understand why we're all bitter, ranting campaigners.

The whole "supporters of (insert club) deserve a flag" thing is a bit shit for mine, you're no more entitled to one than anyone else. That said, success is pretty wasted on clubs like Sydney who's fans only have a passing interest in the game at best.

If we tarred everybody who posted on Bay 13 with the same brush based on who they support, you'd be a loser who couldn't change a tyre.
Unless I'm mistaken (which I doubt), I've seen you sucked in by Plugger on the Bay.

IWAGD not liking you is probably a good thing. :rainbow:

Who says it's ok for Morgs to hate the Bulldogs? People call her on that, people call out Bosk for his Cats/Essendon/COLAs/Norf hate, Bomberfan4000 for his Hawf hate, etc. They own what they say though regardless of what comes back at them.

You're just sulking because you're dribbling rubbish and don't like people calling you on it.

I don't think you're a knob, you have improved quite a lot from those earlier days though. I just remember you posting threads on the Bay or MB about how shit we were or how much we'd f***ed up recruiting certain players/coaches etc which just gave all the Saints hating trolls a chance to jump in and whack us.

On the Bay you can't afford to show any weakness, you have to defend your club at all costs no matter how shit things are.

I can't believe Sooz still reads BF when she can't post here, actually I can believe it but it's still strange.

Which is why I don't want GWS to win a flag as it would just be wasted on their small bandwagon supporter base.

If you do that you back yourself into a corner where you're talking up the coaching credentials of Scott Watters. :$

It's better to pick your battles Plugger, if you'd been on the 'Stanley is f***ing useless' bandwagon you'd be having a great time trolling Geelong right now. :rainbow:

She's not a member but she can still run a search on her name I believe, which is why she always finds these references.

What is it with Norf supporters and searching words on here to get upset about? It's the main way the same few mash on "Norf" on the MB. :$

So divvy thinks its St Kildas fault that carlton cheated and lost draft picks to get Goddard?

That makes no sense

Point taken, to be fair, i sometimes do get a bit pompous/obnoxious at times. You'd be surprised how many Carlton fans do have it in for St Kilda though, Stealing Hamill and that decade long win streak you had over us still burns for some:)

Football stereotypes, like the people that use them, are stupid.
Not all of them are stupid, it depends on the stereotype and how it's used.

The Collingwood teeth one is old and lame, but the one about Sydney fans knowing nothing about the game is still fairly relevant, especially when they keep appointing presidents who embody it.

Yeah look the clubs deserving of flags because of their fans thing is a bit hard to swallow, as supporter bases are full of all types of people despite the stereotypes we like to laugh about. No doubt in the Blues fan base there's still plenty of entitled types who think we should be romping in the flag every year and still stand by the **** the rest mentality (my dad is one of the old school types who will want the coach sacked after a few losses  or think we're finalists after a couple wins). But there's good sensible and measured fans too.

Oh yeah, boobs.

That would have killed. Twelve losses in a row to a team you have dominated constantly throughout your history.
