Candied bacon, it's alright in certain things in moderation. Often it's candied in maple syrup, making it really similar to the American waffles with bacon.
Yep, make pancakes, cook some bacon, fold pancake like a taco, put in the bacon and add some maple syrup. Yummy

When I make pizza, it's flat bread/scone dough/bread dough, olive oil, tomato paste mixed with French onion soup powder, cheese, usually a mixture of old/tasty cheddar and mozzarella, grated of course. Bacon bits, champignons, black olives, pineapple pieces, assorted meats(pepporoni, salami, cabana etc)
smothered with lots more cheese, cook in hot oven until brown coating forms on cheese

I did plant some basil. Actually, I love putting 'basil bombs' in things like spaghetti. You make them by finely chopping fresh basil, mix with olive oil and freeze in ice cube trays. Chuck them while frozen into whatever dish you you want them in while cooking, and the flavour literally explodes into the meal. Stews and pasta I find the best to use them in
