This is fresh from my eyeballs to your 'pooter screen...

I was ambling on home from work this arv; just going past the Preston Blockbuster Video joint, in fact; when this tall, track suited, mediterranean looking chap bounded out of his flashy sports car and deposited whatever it was he'd rented in the return box.

"This fellow looks familiar", I thought to myself.

By the time he'd completed the five metre round trip to get back to his car, he'd really worked up a sweat and was puffing and panting like he'd just run a marathon.

Can yers guess who it was?

Yep...Anthony Rocca!

Nice to see he hasn't deserted his Preston roots, too!

Isn't the blockbuster in Sandringham and not Preston...well it was when I lived there, with Coles opposite and the rail station just next to it.

well on Good Friday my friend and i went to Jam Factory in Chappel St. and we saw Shane Woewodin, Jeff Farmer amongst four other Melbourne players in Russell Robertson, Brad Green, Troy Simmonds and Nathan Brown.
may i just say they were eating the place down... besides Woey, he's keeping his figure nice and slim! :D

GO DEESS! :)

On Wednesday I was standing next to Nathan Buckley at the Bakers Delight on Glenferrie Road. Also, about a month ago, after school, I ran in to (literally) Jonathon Hay (Yes!), also on Glenferrie Road.
If you want to spot footy players, it's the place to be, seriously - Glenferrie is crawling with them!

I work part time in a supermarket in Brissy. Luke Power, Damian Cupido, Craig Bolton, Jonathan Brown, Nigel Lappin, Brad and Chris Scott, Matthew Kennedy & Des Headland all have been "spotted" there regularly...

Or maybe he's just a really slow jogger

In the lift at work, I've bumped into Steve Bracks, John Elliot, Jim Stynes and Bruno Grollo... all just this year!

Like other people have said, Glenferrie Rd is the place to see Hawthorn players. Trent Croad, Crawford, Holland - this year!

Bluecrow, I'd be surprised if people didn't see Hawthorn players crawling around Glenferrie Rd......Considering how Glenferrie Oval is in Linda Crs., which is off Glenferrie Rd. If you can't see them walking down the street, just look for the BMWs with the P plates.....Guaranteed to be a player everytime.

But come on, the type of famous people you should be on the look-out for are Neighbours celebrities!!! I see the chick that plays Dione all the time at my local shopping centre. Exciting stuff!!!:D

Deakin Uni's crawling with footy players as well......Shannon Grant, Rayden Tallis, Tim Clarke, Steven Greene, Rupert Betheras....

Also, last weekend when north went down in the close one against the hawks, I went to the Marquee Club in Sth Melbourne that night and saw Brady Rawlings and Shane Clayton partying hard.

Yep, saw Shannon Grant the one day I went to uni this year. Trippy seeing players on Firstclass, asking questions like "anyone got the solutions to Q5.4???" haha.

As for my celebrity spotting...

I went to high school with Danny Giansiracusa..... he was a mad Hawthorn supporter, so I don't know how he took to being drafted by the Bulldogs. lol

He got picked at number 30 in 99, which was a bloody suprise that he got drafted at all, because a lot of us thought that he wasn't a super talent or anything.... but given how he's been killing it lately in the seniors, I guess that's why I'm not a recruiting manager at an AFL club.

Today I saw 5 players.... all on Chapel Street. Matthew Lloyd was out with Mark McVeigh, also saw Andrew Leoncelli, Russell Robertson and Corey McKernan. I also saw Eric Bana :D

I go to school right near Glenferrie Road and no joke, I see about three Hawthorn players a week. Croad is there most often, followed closely by Crawf... and a lot of the young ones are there as well - especially on Tuesdays about an hour before training.
