Yes my brother and I have been supporters for over 20 years and they are doing a USA preseason tour this Summer we are very excited about! Hopefully they can win the title but have to hope Rangers drops points and/or win out and beat them head to head, we shall see.I’m a Liverpool supporter but also follow Celtic. Any Celtic followers/ supporters out there?
Agree, I am not happy with the Board.Yes. We've been unlucky with the constant injuries to CCV and Hatate plus the situation with Abada but it is crazy the board and Rodgers have pissed away the massive advantage that Ange left. Rangers struggling financially and they have gifted them the opportunity of taking the automatic CL spot and the truckload of cash that comes with it. I don't think Celtic can win the league unless they win both derbies. Every game there is a risk of dropping points.
Shankly was PNEYes my brother and I have been supporters for over 20 years and they are doing a USA preseason tour this Summer we are very excited about! Hopefully they can win the title but have to hope Rangers drops points and/or win out and beat them head to head, we shall see.
On a side note: Due to family reasons, we follow PNE as our English team haha; fan of the Scouser Lowe and what he has done, but know a lot of other PNE fans aren't.
I’m in the USA also. Two things led me to being a Liverpool supporter- reading Shankly’s biography ( a PNE man!) and the first time I heard the crowd sing YNWA. Follow Celtic for the relationship with LFC and my families roots in both Scotland and Ireland.Yes my brother and I have been supporters for over 20 years and they are doing a USA preseason tour this Summer we are very excited about! Ah ffs. Guilty of reading clickbait headline, then, and giving it some sort of validity. Headline was something like 'Basel (or whoever) set to not win league title pushes Celtic as seeds for CL draw' Haven't been following it either and have sort of tuned out this season as we had the league won the longer they held on to big Phillipe.I don't really follow the whole coefficient thing re Europe but I have seen a few threads where the league results in Austria, Croatia, Switzerland wherever else are actually going against Celtic being seeded for the qualifying draw.
100%. We always do this and this nonsense is part of the reason why Rodgers left the last time, imo. I wouldn't be surprised if they get Schlupp back on loan, recall Tilio and sign some U-21 from around Scandinavia. So much harder getting new players in more than ever before and now with the qualifiers to go through, it's a tough sell to bring in players from a stronger league. That's the annoying thing about the January window. They didn't need to replace Kyogo for this season but they should have been buying a striker and a winger to get them settled for the qualifiers. Now with Jota doing his knee, Maeda has to play as a winger, Idah is the only recognised striker and Maeda/Kuhn are the only wingers good enough to start and to be honest I would sell Kuhn if we got a good offer anyway.
Lot of Celts who don't rate him. I still think he is a work in progress & he'd have appreciated the pressure of playing for Celtic where we're excpected to win eleventy nil every game. He's had poor & good games, but we don't really play a game that suits him as an off the shoulder of the last defender type striker, so hopefully develops under Rodgers more. His finishing has improved for sure. He's been a pretty good pick up.![]()
