havent left, polly. i'm still here and still count myself as a burra through and through. i'm not one of the deserters who shot through after the 2000 brawl. were you in round 4? did you hear those pricks singing their song after the game and all of our mob having to put up with it? i bet you werent, just like some of our other so called supporters werent there to hear robbo give the boys a spray in the visitors rooms. we'll win this year, but it wont be any thanks to blokes like you or loudmouth jock
yep you would have to be a hepburn supporter to know robbo gave a spray to the team you must be part of the inner sanctum of the club that know all the secrets i did not know anyone knew about that spray exept committee men.haha

congratulations, sherlock.....just dont stand too close to robbo or you'll be covered in froth and spit but somehow i reckon youre just the type to enjoy manspray, all kinds of it.
oh know another highly protected secret of ours that you have let out,how can we expect to win yet another flag when you tell everyone that robbo spits when he gives his talks.good luck in the m.c.f.l next year

jocks says it wont be a problem. if shep had played at the sardine can agaisnt daylesford we would have won because theres no way cronin would have got 10. reeves should have been reported. same with luke adams. gary byers will fix him up next time. the umpires cheated us out of it. wont happen again. were goin' top. daylesfords finished

Daylesford will also have a few qaulity ins. Are u saying that shep would have made all the difference or are you saying Hepburn have no decent backline players other than shep that could stop the likes of Cronin? Playing the blame game won't solve your worrys I thought the umpires were fairly consistant in that game. Even if yous Lose you still retain top possy haven't you read the ladder lately? If the doggies lose they might see yous in the finals anyway.

shane19 you dont have to be a rocket scientist to workout you r not from the most succesful club in the c.h.f.l.But it is impressive that you think you know so much about it.it is a fair bet to say you did play there but left because you did not get enough attention(headcase)see you in the last round.
welcome to the site polly, obviously you have read the stupid comments by the great Shane 19... Hepburn's number 1 fan... hasn't deserted us, goes to all our games. Well Einstein Shane made comment of our recruits kicking nearly all of our goals a couple of weeks ago at Springbank... for someone who is always watching, why didn't he mention Mick Stanley's 3 goals as well ? i know, it's because he wasn't published on Hepburn's goalkickers list
Why did he bag us for playing a dinosaur like Raaky in that same game? i dont know because he reckons he can find every moloscule, every detail that Hepburn get up to, but the dick wit cant notice that a 6 ft 6in Raaky didn't play that day. He was named in the paper but was injured .
But he noticed a couple of our juniors at Daylesford later in the afternoon.
He is a true blue Daylesford w***er... their club is going well, but they don't need w***ers like him

Well Timmy, i dont know who Shane19 is but as a Daylesford person i personally do not want them associated with our club. Anyone who slags our their own club in a public forum is not a clubman at all. A clubman is supposed to support their club, not degrade it. Shane19 may be a Hepburn person or may not, but until we know 100% for sure who this is, why should you be palming him off to our club? Do we deserve that? No !!!

ah the great timmy32 is back to save us all, the man whose family are from daylesfordfc. we all know timmy is from the same family who print lies on websites and in papers about other club coaches, and then make a pathetic apology but still leave the lies up on the website. the same family who whiteant juniors and their families just to suck up to the senior coach. and guess, what, big ears, u said you werent going to respond to me any more....we all know who the true blue w***er is. Mick Stanley would do us all a favour if he ran over u with one of his horses...ha ha
i didn't actually respond, but now i will. last time i looked our juniors were very strong, looks good for the future... do you have a problem with that?
instead of sitting on your computer posting here as you have done the last three Saturday mornings, how about you get of your ass and get to the footy early and support your own juniors. Nah not a hope in hell because you would still be recobering from the Friday night you just had on the piss. No wonder why we got rid of you. Please give us all something positive that you have ever done that has made a difference to your club...
Dford dog hopes your not a doggie.... your not a burra... so how about you f... off and leave everyone alone no one wants you ********.

With the finals approaching and the top five settled to an extent, what is everyones thoughts on the teams playing off. Are Hepburn that far in front of everyone else? Is Daylesford a genuine threat after all of the off field incidents? Are Learmonth front runners and have they run their race? Are Waubra hitting their straps at the right time of the year? And are Bunningyong a real threat or just flat track bullies because they haven't beaten anyone of significance to date?

Is Daylesford a genuine threat after all of the off field incidents? 3. Are Learmonth front runners and have they run their race? 4. Are Waubra hitting their straps at the right time of the year? 5. 1. No, ladder may suggest but finals are a new kettle of fish. Definately in the box seat though.
2. Yes, off-field incidents are well and truely in the past and things are looking good for the mountain men.
3. No, they will be right in the mix deep into finals
4. Yes, looking very dangerous and could go all the way
5. The dark horse, assume nothing....expect anything

So in other words, its anyone's guess as to who could take the flag this year....could be the best finals series we've seen in a while:thumbsu:

Yes -Hepburn are way out in front
No - Daylesford are not a threat because of the infighting - gone
No - Learmonth are front runners and have run there race - gone
No - Waubra travelling nicely but not at Hepburns level
No - Making up numbers.

As stated before, anyside in the top 5 is capable on their day, problem is for 4/5th is if they have a bad day their gone, so its imperative to get the double chance or the weeks rest which Hepburn will get and have earnt.

2nd/3rd position are still up for grabs between Dford/Waubra & Learmonth. Depending on this weeks result between learmonth & Dunnstown will determine the final ladder standings. If Learmonth win, they will keep the double chance as you couldnt see them losing to Springbank in the last game of the year. If Learmonth lose this week, then they wont be able to make up the percentage that Waubra and Dford have over them, so would end 4th. Which would mean the ladder would finish

Learmonth Win-
Hep
Learmonth
Dford- 2nd if they beat Hep in last rnd
Waubra
Buninyong

Waubra could grab 3rd spot and most likely will on percentage if Dford lose last game..

Learmonth lose
Hep
Waubra
Dford
Learmonth
Buninyong

So im sure that Waubra & dford will be looking on closely and hoping that the towners can role us. Waubra might just throw in a couple of Barralls for D'Town's mad monday for incentive which they have been known to do.

Should make for a great finals series, but honestly believe you need double chance to win it. 4th and 5th will be just to hard with elimination all the way through.

From memory two sides have made it through to the Grand Final after playing off in the Elimination Final, Learmonth way back in 1994 and lost to Dunnstown convincingly, and the Clunes juggernaught steamrolled everyone in 2005 and had Hepburn on the ropes in the Grand Final... But they did have a bloke callen Owen Wetherley playing with them.. lucky for us we had Sam Newton who could at least nullyfy his brilliance, otherwise we would have been in serious trouble. The race is wide open and it should be the most even finals series in many years. All sides very capable on their day and i think there is no stand out team at this stage.

I agree elimination all the way through would make it near impossible but c-linton did it last year from 4th I know this isn't the lpfl but this is just an example.
A couple of weeks rest before the grand final can always help too but:
* In 2004 skipton won the second semi and had the rest and lost the granny
* 2005 C-linton won the second semi and lost the granny.
* 2006 skipton won the second semi and lost the granny.
* 2007 natte won the second semi and lost the granny.
* last year Waubra won the second semi and lost the granny.

When you think the rest would do the world of good maybe the team that has the rest goes into the grand final a little less match ready.
Personally I think anything can happen in finals.

totally agree especially if you you finish on top and then win the second semi, two weeks off in four is not enough match fitness. anyone in top five can win it this year which has not been the case for quiet a while

i'm pretty sure that Springbank did it back in 2000 coming from 5th.. anyone else clarify that..

this was the report in the advocate this week from the hepburn-ballan match. its got jocks olver stamped all over it.

"The debut of young gun Alec Cimera warmed the supporters hearts."

apparently didn't warm the heart of our senior coach......young Alec's been dropped back to the under18s for the finals.....here we go again. mullethead's only rule is that if your not old or not an import, forget it.

our junior development policy is shit. so is jocks story.
The supporters were raving about Sam Conroy's performance in the Ruck in the seniors today. Another u/18 product, and still playing juniors. Again you are wrong Shane, but you wouldn't know would you? i notice that you were not there after half time. Well supported again ********.

supporters raving? your not talking about mrs bonehead r u? where were u all day? give mullethead time, sammy will be given the arse like u and your dumb brother should have been years ago
which brother r u referring to,i notice you have not got any more secrets from the inner sanctum of HFC,anyone else you want to insult from the club your suppose to support

u clearly know nothing about the burras, polly. in fact, u sound a lot like that gibberer timmy32. ur probably his moronic brother. what a curse that would be...now, as far as i'm aware, we don't play at home next week. we're in the southern end of spa country....but then again, u probably have a different take on that, too. bit hard to read a fixture when u've got ya head between timmy's knees. time to change hands, u braindead goose.

Hepburn have a function tonight so why aren,t you down there, instead of sitting on your computer on a saturday night. I'm on my way to the club rooms see you there.

can any1 from springbank or dford confirm last years premiership coach is off to springbank
Close cowboy, he apparently is on the move but not to Springbank. He has been a regular observer of the Newlyn matches this season. So don't be suprised if he bobs up there once the season has ended.
