Still sitting in 4th Posie on the ladder though learmonth with a very healthy % and a few good players to return over the next couple of weeks i hear, no need to panic just yet.

I could imagine there would be some ********s in the crowd giving it to you and the umpires.
I'm sure Waubra would have had atleast one player this season have a few beers the night before a match. It happens every now and then. Gordon's problem is a lack of about 18 quality players.

Apparently a bloke from Daylesford said that they got better a workout playing soggy biscuits than they did when they played Gordon.

Crusader or Dforddoggies can you fill us in on Saturday's match v Creswick. I know you can't win every game by 20 goals but i think everyone would have expected a bigger win. Did the boys have an off day or did the wickers have a reasonable crack at it?
I was at the game on Saturday.
We definetely had an off day, two blokes reported and subsequently suspended for the Hepburn game wasnt a good outcome either. A better side would have beaten us easily, but the 4pts were still obtained so thats the main thing. Certainly though, a few things to work on with a weekend off in preparation for the local derby.
Full credit to Creswick in their efforts, if they stick together and recruit a few stars they are on the improve.

yeah mate definatly was an off day, tho full credit to creswick they were much more competitive than i have seen creswick in the past. joel adams and david thompson were the two reports, both striking i think but dont quote me on that, big losses
neither of them mate.
ive seen bout a quarter of the15s each week so i hardly comment altho wen i was playin 15s and east players were out we got the dropped east players. back in those days it was just to make up numbers and really we struggled to win a game anyways.
as for learmonth, i just dont rate AJ at all. dont like him and glad hes not playin at the club. full credit to learmonth to be where they are at this stage of the season and this is no dig at the club, just at the coach.
and for best player in the 18s i cant see a better player out there. would you lik to put forward a top 10 of your own?

Mobbenfuhrer, i don't think what i said was near as bad as some of the abuse I've read on here. To many people get on here and launch personal attacks behind the safety of a computer screen. Most directed at one bloke and he's identity is known, at least when he gives someone a spray they know who it's coming from.
The comment i replied to was obviously from an U 18 player who has only just started posting. He is either bagging blokes he has never played against and most likely doesn't know or posting U 18 gossip. There is an under eighteen thread that would seem a better place to post.
Anyway will be on my best behavior as i would hate to get rubbed out , i don't know if i could go on...

I find that quite funny, what can you get suspended for???? and how long do they give you. The two guys from Dford that were suspended were Joel Adams 1 week and Dave Thompson who got 4 weeks with two sitting on his head. Both will miss the BIG game against Hepburn, and may sway hepburn to favourtism.
In the lead up to the D'Ford v Hepburn game, what is the state of D'Fords ground, having played there for a few years I know the ground can get pretty heavey after a bit of rain.
the Daylesford ground is pretty ordinary ,but the bmx track around the ground is very ruff.Disappointing to be missing j adams and tommo for the big one might come down to the ruck duel wood an ox beat a chief

Was out after the Bungaree V Learmonth game and saw a very happy looking bungaree coach Jayden Reid with a dollar sign on a gold chain -$- it was a very large 'bling' very visable.I watched that game which Bungaree went down by 3 or so goals and Reid got about 4 kicks. Maybe a bit symbolic of Reids thoughts??
