So why is it alright to say this sort of crap on and around a footy ground but not on a bowls green? It is not ok anywhere and this post says a lot about you as a person.Without getting into a lengthy discussion about this, the reality is the player would never had heard the comment and people are too soft and need to harden up. As for the AFL suspending a player for 9 weeks for calling a player a #aggot, FFS toughen up were not playing lawn bowls. I'e called players worse and been called worse, if you don't like it then give them a smack behind play. If you don't like what i say then go have a cry in your bedroom in your safe place.
As for the player not hearing it. Why say it if he couldn’t hear it. Only trying to be a hero.
There was a game a couple of years ago which also involved the mallee eagles that alcohol influenced men on the side lines were saying inappropriate comments to a player about his sister. The player could hear these and the sister and her parents could also hear it. It’s not just the players that these comments can effect.
