Doubt that mate!!! me and my family have been mowing woora ground for 40 yrs, donating our time and fuel... work it out. Who biult the woora clubrooms, players and committee, had to raise all the funds ourselves, how did we do this, getting out there and fundraiseing, delivered all the new recycle and rubbish bins to swan hill, robinvale, kerang, cohuna, barham, moulamein. Shoveled out all the channels in woora and murrawee district for 2 yrs. And the sad thing is. We pay exactly the same amount of fees at Woora as the in town clubs and we have to pay for and maintain the reserve ourselves. you have no argument, face the facts.

Here Here. What a superb piece of debating from one of the best in the business. Great way to conclude what has been an emotional debate from all concerned. In summary, the town clubs do get an easy ride in comparison to the out of town clubs. If things were so even, why do we have three southern teams looking for a way out at the end of this season?

It gives me great pleasure in announcing the out of town clubs the winner of the great debate. I now offically draw this topic to a close.

New topic -- sex the night before CMFL games......any opinions? Does it help or hinder?

The only reason you say the league is **** is because your club play like a bunch of spastics.. The league is strong its just that the inter-league was a shadow of the best team the CMFL could put on the park if everyone was available. Inter-league does not truly reflect on the standard of the competition..
If u think the league is so good why don't you take over the interleague side.

Notice you have been rather quiet on this town vs country debate ROOTA.
Got an opinion, do you think that the fact 2 of the 12 teams seem to win ONLY 1/2 of the prizes on offer is because they work harder than the other clubs, who could get the job done (ie Flags & G/F's) just as easy if they wanted?? OR without trying to take anything away from them, because any team that wins a flag works hard for it (no one has argued this) do you think it might be JUST a little bit easier for a city based club to keep a competitive side on the park??

Trying to stay out of heated debate and away from controversy mate. I have no doubt that it would be easier for town clubs to remain competitive. Swan Hill and Tyntynder have had their down years also, but they don't seem to be prolonged periods the likes that my club and yours have seen. This is just the nature of geography mate. This debate is points out many of the reasons why i would love my club to move to town. Won't happen and that is fine, and i will continue to play and do whatever is needed to make the club live on, but would love to be based at MDOWNS

Brett Pekin (Swan Hill)
Lee O'Meara (Lalbert)
Randy Munzel (Bombers)
Luke Crow (Woor)
Aaron Cocks (K/B)
Travis Byrne (Balranald)
Nathan Pope (Cohuna)
Hayden Walters (Tooley)
Tim Styles (Tyntynder)
Adam Budjuso (Kerang)
Chris Knee (NNW United)
John Guthrie (Lake Boga)
totally agree with you iamfooty in regards to tim styles from tyntynder. Plays his best footy in the back pocket, would be my 1st pick in the backline in the CMFL all star team for 06.

Does John Guthrie even play seniors at Lake Boga?? Is that him that regularly appears in the best players in the Ressies?? Agree with most of the others though iamfooty, although I don't think i've ever heard of the Kerang bloke.

Don't know about the first pick in the back line. Back pocket for sure though. He is a back pocket specialist. :thumbsu:

Probably why he is underrated......handy defender and one of the few blokes that isn't rated on the current Kerang list.

Ok, Guthrie was a roughie, but saw him play ressies last week and goes alright. With Brawn out, maybe a spot for him in senior footy -- reminds me of a flamboyant Nathan Seamons in his prime:thumbsu:

Thanks brad I agree call the debate to an end because we are agree to disagree there is no easy ride form anyone in the competition, no club would survive it was an easy ride.

Sex before the game is ok if its the morning of ... according to the Italian World Champion Soccer team of 06. I read somewhere that the majority of these blokes were getting a load out either the night before or day of matches during world cup

Luke Kelly would be one of the best defenders in the comp and continually goes under the radar

How Is Shannon Millward Travelling From Bendigo League? Sean Smith Up There Again? Filo Still Playing In Your League? He Would Be One Of The Maddest Egg's Getting Around. Still Go Ok? Brother Derek Slowed Down Now, I'd Say It Will Be His Last Year Down Here.
