I was watching one of those great goals shows on Foxtel and it had a little section of goals dedicated to the select few who have over 100 premier league goals. I didnt catch them all or know how old the show was so Im not sure if others have joined the club. Of those that I remember were LeTissier, Shearer (only man with 200) Fowler, Cole, Yorke, Ferdinand, Sheringham but I cant remember the rest.

Owen scored 100 a while ago but I cant remember if it was his 100th league goal or his 100th Liverpool goal. Anyway does anybody have a list?

A few that would be close:

Kevin Phillips
Niall Quinn
Paul Scholes
OGS (He has been there for a while)
Diego Forlorn (in another 15 years or so) :D:D:D

Think Chris Sutton has spent too much time at Chelsea and Celtic, but he would have been well on the way to 100.

Solksjaer has 84 Premiership goals, Scholes has 72, and Giggs has 84.

Forlan has 8 goals from 42 appearances, so he should get his 100th at about his 525th game for the club, which will be sometime in 2015/16 season (assuming he plays every game between now and then).

By contrast, RVN has 51 goals from 78 games and he'll reach the 100 target in about 2 years time (I hope).

Shouldnt be long before Owen goes outright second. 2 or so more seasons. Cant believe Heskey has that many goals???

I was actually a little surprised at Speed

Anyway, Heskey was the main striker for Leicester and if I remember right he also did quite well in the 00/01 season for Liverpool

Only if you include Primera Liga goals in the totals. :D

Where did you get your stats from?

They're different goal figures from mine....I got mine from the red11.org site which is updated after every game.
I went for the novel approach of looking on the Premier League's official site.

Premier League

Have to be careful with goal stats. Are they including league, cup, euro and national goals? Are they for just Premiership or also lower division, or pre-Premier League. I could imagine that lots of different lists could be produced.

There is some good stuff on the site (including shortest and tallest). Anyone want to guess who has played the most PREMIERSHIP games without looking it up first?

Also on the nationality ladder Aussies come in 11th. We're ahead of Sweden but behind Denmark, I would have guessed it was the other way around.

I'd guess a goalie, probably Seaman. Of the outfielders Steve Staunton?

Yeah it is Speed. The Merlin Premier League 2003 Gold Cards don't lie. At that stage he was on 354 and that was for last season so I gather he would be approaching 400 appearences in the Premier League these days.

On Dublin I rekon he got his 100th against Newcastle at St. James last year.
