Well for starters they contain beta-glucan which helps lower cholesterol re-absorption so they are good for the ol' heart and it also enhances the immune system to help with infections and viruses. They are high in fibre, so they are good for the digestive system and they stabalise blood sugar levels, once again due to the beta-glucan. So yes, rolled oats are very beneficial to your health.
