Just thinking that the Ox has really been selected out of the blue, and the club obviously has some thought behind his inclusion in the squad, unless we have someone else down back under a cloud.

I would rather play Crocker.........if needed send Mihocek back.

In the words of Gimpy if Oxley plays I will microwave my membership.

No Howe, Moore, Reid and McLarty in the spine. Mihocek and Cox the key forwards

End of the day we have named a lineup that should win comfortably then get an 8 day break heading into Melbourne’s grand final

Wouldnt it be great if we roll Melbourne on QB, like we did R23 last year to shatter their dreams. By the way if we do beat them, does that make us premiership favourites? Everyone else is talking them up as though the premiership race is over!!

All the changes seem to work just fine, yes Howe is always going to hurt but Freo hardly have a scary forward line and Muz would be a bull at the gate. Need him fit and firing for the dees game. Mihocek can't be any worse than Reid.
If Howe isn't to hurt Apples or Greenwood make way easily for him next week.

Who else is left to name. Wills, Brown. Anyone else

Don’t know if it means anything other than media team incompetence but I swear they changed the article headline from “Three changes” to “seven inclusions”.

I’m expected the same as many others:
Out injured trio
In wells mihocek Maynard

Ben Reid - phew.....was he really worth the contract extension at this stage? Developing youngsters need continuity of senior players in the team - not here one week and gone the next

Changes seem pretty straight forward then:

Wells in for Varcoe
Mihochek in for Reid
Maynard in for Howe

B - Langdon Dunn Greenwood
HB - Maynard Sharenberg Crisp
C - Phillips Pendlebury Sidebottom
HF - Wells Mihochek WHE
F - DeGoey Cox Stephenson
R - Grundy Adams Treloar
INT - Thomas Daicos Mayne Appleby

Definitely! Both McLarty and Sier have been knocking on the door all year. Bad timing! Mihocek has been good though last couple of weeks.
Injury aside I reckon Mihocek has passed by McClarty in the past few weeks. Takes marks and kicks goals when swinging forward and has been strong in defence. The other Howe has done the better Rick work whileMax Lynch has been injured.
I think Mihocek brings a more mature player but with some hunger as this is probably his one go at an AFL Level career

Or we could just be running thin on players.....

Fingers crossed all ok for Howe per latest Post for Training Report where Apples indicates Howe looked OK at Training today & it is a mystery to him that he is now out injured.
