Even at our lowest ebb we managed to keep all the guys we wanted.

You are correct to the highlighted part. What i meant was, we now are a Club where players want to be and where players want to come too. I was meaning the atmosphere as a whole, no more tarps on seats, fantastic memberships and great attendances for our players to play in front of, topped off with a great venue. The board is now all on the same page, along with the coaches, unlike pre Ken. All things contribute to a healthy playing atmosphere where very good players eg: Chad, Robbie, Hammer, Travis enjoy their time as AFL players because they love coming to work each day and will make them great leaders.

Wouldn't shock me to see Chad promoted to the leadership group this season. Watching his games on Fox Footy he is a leader, not a vocal one it seems but he lifts the team with his actions so often.

I reckon he does get animated & vocal at times though ... certainly not a passive player on field. I agree, he looks primed to take up a leadership role in 2016 ... I would love to see it! IMO the extra responsibility would see him lift another gear, ala Boak when he stepped up as captain.

What gets me about this take on Chad's 2015 is, he's a really aggressive and dynamic tackling machine. What a Star!

cant believe that just one season. so many times i stopped and went back to watch again cos it was just pure awsomeness.
