Yep. All rankings are nothing more than a talking point. They're the product of biases in personal opinion or within the ranking system. I don't really get why so many people are so annoyed by them.

5 goals. I doubt he got any votes for that game. The goals were more right place at the right time, rather than him dominating that game.

Actually played a pretty good game as a teen in his third game, but good timing too in terms of where he was - an opportunist that day.

His only Brownlow vote was this year against Port. Think had he stayed on against West Coast when he got his Rising Star nom he would have got votes, as he was taking amazing marks up forward.

With the Brownlow, it is hard to get votes as a KP. Forwards seem to need to kick bags of 6+ and defenders have to virtually rule the match. Mids though can run around on their own and get millions of possies and they are a shoo in.
So bottomline is that Moore will get nowhere near his father's dominance in the Brownlow. Peter will end up the more famed player.

IMO our defence this year was second only to Geelong's. Slot Langdon back in there and its a top-tier backline. Champion data always over-rates our midfield, individually on paper it looks good but something with the chemistry just lacks.
