Hi All, been working on this portfolio for a long time now and seeing as there is some momentum with NBL uniforms thought I would start sharing my designs. Template and presentation is inspired by a few poster on sportslogos.net. NBL X CHAMPION.png

First team up: Adelaide 36ers
Logo: I have recoloured their team logo. Away with the gold and in with a return to a deep yellow. The red has been darkened and the blue remains the same.
Home and Away: Simple wordmark and number creates a much bolder look. The sidepanels are inspired by the SA Metro Basketball teams and also includes the Vs synonymous to SA.
Alternate: Yellow alternate for a bit of a pop! Gone with a yoke design, and was heavily inspired by the SA state football jumper.
Heritage: Based on the 1986 NBL Champion Adelaide 36ers and celebrating 35 year anniversary of their first Championship. Screen Shot 2020-04-10 at 12.23.47 pm.png Screen Shot 2020-04-10 at 12.24.04 pm.png Screen Shot 2020-04-10 at 12.24.19 pm.png

Next up: Brisbane Bullets
Logo: No changes to their Logo. It is definitely one of the nicer club logos in the league at the moment.
Home/Away/Alternate: It appears everyone seems to have a similar view that the Bullets should bring back the trailblazers sash design. It is definitely unique to them and a design that I think they should bring back.
Heritage: Throwback to the 2008 design where the Bullets were crowned champions of the league. Seeing as their are know comments, here are the Taipans.
Logo: Simplified logo based off one of their alternate logos. The colours are also slightly adjusted, darkening the orange a touch and lightening the blue.
Home/Away: The design includes the fangs from the Taipans' Logo, with snakeskin sidepanels. Reintroducing a light cream to the uniform set from the early 2010s.
Alternate: Blackout uniform. Cairns seem to use an all black design each year that is auctioned off for a charity each year.
Heritage: Based on the original Taipans' uniforms from the 1999/00 season. Screen Shot 2020-04-12 at 9.55.57 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-12 at 9.56.17 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-12 at 9.56.31 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-12 at 9.56.45 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-12 at 9.56.57 am.png

Next is Illawarra:
Logo: Retained their current logo.
Home/Away: Embraced the Black and Red theme for the Hawks.
Alternate:Chest stripe looks great for Illawarra and is a design that the team has worn on multiple occasions throughout their history.
Heritage: The Heritage is inspired from their only Championship victory in 2001. It will also mark their 20th Anniversary of a Championship.

Next Up is Melbourne United:
I think I struggled the most to come up with something creative for United.
Logo: Recoloured their current logo and exchanged the grey for the bright royal blue they used on their merch this year. I also removed all white for a light grey as their secondary colour.
Home/Away: Simple design for United with a basic side panel. Introduced a subtle pattern to the base of the design.
Alternate: Bright blue alternate to change it up for United and give them a common tertiary colour.
Heritage: 1997 Melbourne Tigers design. Screen Shot 2020-04-13 at 11.51.30 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-13 at 11.51.40 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-13 at 11.51.54 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-13 at 11.52.04 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-13 at 11.52.28 am.png

Ahhh yes, I see the spelling and grammar has dropped off during the Uni Break! Will make sure there are no more mistakes for you! :grimacing:

Next Up are the NZ Breakers:
Logo: Disclaimer the wave design is not my own just used an image from google, however I think that breakers are in desperate need of a new logo.
Home/Away/Alternate: Simple and thick Maori sidepanel design that has been used for the last couple of years. I love the way the Breakers have included the Maori design into their uniforms and I think that it makes for a really bold and unique design.
Heritage: The Heritage design is from the Breakers 2011 Championship season. NBL21 marks the 10 year anniversary of their success. Doubling down today, here are the current champions the Perth Wildcats:
Logo: Maintaining the current Wildcat from their current logo and introducing a slightly modernized colour way and new design for the Cats. The new logo includes 10 stars for their 10 championships introduces a new word mark and highlights the new colours for the club. The red has been darkened a touch, the club lighten the black to a dark grey and introduce maroon as a tertiary colour.
Home/Away: Simple designs for the Home and Away with a stylized side panel that is representative of a scratch mark.
Alternate: Grey alternate with bold red name and number is a new look for the Cats.
Heritage: Emu Export Heritage for the Cats marking their 30th anniversary of back to back Championships in 1991. First up from the final three teams are the South East Melbourne Phoenix:
Logo: retained from their original logo.
Home/Away: Green replaces black as the Home for the Phoenix, whilst a dark grey away is introduced. The designs include a stylized side panel that I tried to emulate the feeling of fire.
Alternate: Grey alternate introduced with the Heartland wordmark. Includes the same side design, but in a more subtle way.
Heritage: SEM Magic 1996 away uniform from their Championship year. The white away has been chosen, as Utd. wore their home kits a couple of years ago. Screen Shot 2020-04-15 at 9.06.40 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-15 at 9.06.52 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-15 at 9.07.03 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-15 at 9.07.14 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-15 at 9.07.25 am.png

Second team today are the Sydney Kings:
Logo: updated the Kings logo to really emphasize the Crown. I have reintroduced their script word marks and included them in the logo.
Home/Away: Simple purple and gold uniforms. The side panels include crowns from the logo within them.
Alternate: Black 'Sydney' alternate.
Heritage: Taken from the Kings' inaugural team's away uniform. Screen Shot 2020-04-15 at 9.16.46 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-15 at 9.16.59 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-15 at 9.17.14 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-15 at 9.17.24 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-15 at 9.17.36 am.png

And finally the new team the Tasmania Timbers:
Logo: Axe imagery to represent the timber industry is the centerpiece of the logo.
Home/Away: Pine green home uniform and steel grey away uniform. The side panels include a plaid design that represents the agricultural industry in Tasmania.
Alternate: White plaid uniform. Is a touch confronting, but I think the plaid is subtle enough that this design could work on court.
Heritage: Hobart Tassie Devils design from the 19990s. Screen Shot 2020-04-15 at 9.36.44 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-15 at 9.36.57 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-15 at 9.37.08 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-15 at 9.37.22 am.png Screen Shot 2020-04-15 at 9.37.33 am.png
