I can see Arsenal taking it up to Barcalona in one game but completely falling apart in the other. They seem to have a history of doing that at this stage as shown against Milan, Munich and Monaco

Juve/Bayern on SBS Wednesday morning. Disappointed, that could've gone either way. BeinSport's Australian market the deciding factor I'm guessing.

No game televised on Thursday. Surprised Bein didn't flog off Eindhoven/Atleti to FTA.

The right decision.

Bayern, Barcelona and Juventus are historically all superior to Arsenal.

Yeah obviously.

Perplexed as to why Bein opted for a one-sided affair over a potentially outstanding contest. Juve/Bayern have both been on :fire: domesticaly. Gutted they're on at the same time as Arsenal.

There's only been 1 game telecast per week in this new deal, it's horrendous, but the liberal government slashed the ABCs and SBSs funds a while back so those stations that rely heavily on government funding have had to have major shake ups since and sport was one of the casualties. You seen how many sports commentators have left the ABC recently for etc? The WAFL/SANFL/VFL etc isn't broadcast by the ABC anymore also it's now on CH7 and probably other sports have moved onto other FTA stations too. Soccer telecasts have been more than halved on what they used to do on SBS and they advertise way more than what they'd want to.

I guess Les Murray retired at a good time then, Drew Morphett was a huge loss for the ABC also.
