That’s a good shout at the World Cup. Messi had his first great World Cup at the last one and Mbappe still ouscored him. One World Cup title apiece and Mbappe has 12 World Cup goals (from 14 matches) and 16 is the most. You’d think he’s got two World Cup tournaments in him left and a chance at three.

In terms of club football however. Mbappe’s best season is probably the 7th best season that both Messi and Ronaldo had and that’s not even an exaggeration. It’s not wonder they are both so popular, God level footballers.

That’s fair enough. Would love to see Mbappe score 5 goals next tournament to surpass Klose. To do it in only his third World Cup would be pretty ridiculous.
