As an Adelaide supporter I should have taken the $1500 offer for my ticket for the 2017 Grand Final… hindsight hey?I was at Lords in 99, dud game. With hindsight I should have taken the £800 a Pakistani bloke offered me on St John's Wood Hight Street for my ticket. It was a treat to have a little walk on the ground afterwards though.
They have Barbados born Joffre ArcherEnglish-born Inglis starring for Australia = England moral victory, right?
You were saying? If you are bowling marnus in the 50th over of a one dayer and the opposition is near 350 you ain't winning it.
Carey has been super impressive in 1 day cricket for the past 12-18 months. He's the perfect 1 day batsman because he has conventional and unorthodox shots in his armoury and in the sub continent his value is super important. I actually think 5,6 and 7 right now is the perfect mix Inglis, Carey and Maxwell), Show is exactly where he needs to be in the lineup. You than have Abbott at 8 who's more than capable as well.Awesome Luke
Carey and Inglis partnership was superb they set it up beautifully and targeted the correct bowlers to go after
Great chase
All this time people have been saying we can only play one in the same side I disagree . They both complement each other beautifully in the middle order....the left right hand was on show against the poms....inglis is more dynamic for me of the pair and Carey is the more traditional batter ...Inglis is busy Carey relaxed with his stroke makingCarey has been super impressive in 1 day cricket for the past 12-18 months. Actually think Inglis is a technically correct batsman in his own right. Good enough if he foregoes the gloves to get a gig as a batsman alone. He's proving that the past 12 months in all forms. All this time people have been saying we can only play one in the same side I disagree . I can see no reason why they can't play in all three formats. One as a batter the other as a keeper ..if in form why not ?
They really can't help themselves can they
