Derby County V Preston NE
Ipswich V West Ham

Home & away,Sunday 15th & Thursday 19th.

Absolutely thrilled with the Rams performance after 2 horrific seasons.
Maintain that we may be a season off but the table rarely lies.

All credit to George who has again moulded together a young squad with minimal $$$.Based on a brilliant away record(12 wins) & solid home performances,Derby head to Deepdale next Sunday fresh from a 3-1 victory over their opponents.

Missing from our best 11 will be striker Rasiak, meaning 4-4-2 is likely.
Peschisolido & Tommy Smith up front, supplied by Marco Reich & fans player of the year Idiakez.

A very nervous week as Derby bid for a shot at the premiership.

Congrats to Sunderland & Wigan who are already there.

Cheers
Seth.

Can see Derby getting into the final - they just played PNE and soundly beat them so they've obviously got the form going into it. West Ham did well against Ipswich this season IIRC.

Final will hopefully be West Ham vs. Derby then and the Hammers come up, giving us another London derby to look forward to.

Not another feckin' bunch of Cockney's in the League!

If Norwich stay up then I hope Ispwich win it, if not then I'll take Derby. The more Midland clubs the better.

We'll be blowing Bubbles FOREVER!!!!!

West Ham beat Ipswich away mid - season, so I think we can do the job again. We don't have a good record against Derby and Preston either, so even if we make the final, it'll be tough work. Still I think we can do the job, IF, Teddy Sheringham is fit.

I predicted a Derby v Sheffield U final at the start of the season and as Utd hav e fallen jus short ill stick with Derby to knock off Ipswich in the final.

I think the two winners will be Preston and Ipswich who have both been far superior than their opposition this year and from there Ipswich will gain promotion.
Ipswich have a far stronger squad than the other challengers also.

United have had a relationship with North End, so I'm hoping to see them come up. They're the only side of the three who haven't been up for awhile, so it'd be good for variety.

Damn!!!

We drew with both West Ham and Ipswich in the last few weeks, bloody shame we are 20 points off the play off zone we might have given it a shake :p

Hopefully Bobby Zamora plays badly for West Ham and they sell him back to us.

His last 5 games have probably saved himself a spot for next season. Was very close to being sold to Stoke or Crystal Palace at the end of the transfer window.

Personally I hope if Sheringham is fit, keep Zamora on the bench and then unleash him in the last 30 minutes. He always seems to have an impact when he comes on, but not as much if he starts.

Would love to see the Hammers come back up. Hopefully Sheri will be with them and he get's another crack at the big leagues before retirement. IF he ever does wanna retire at all. An amazing man too be still playing at the highest level at his age.

Derby actually finished above Preston & its a win each this season.
It is true that Ipswich were clearly the 3rd best team however it makes no difference now.
Palace finished 6th last year from memory.

As for Pesch, his record at this level is very good, our top scorer "Greg" Rasiak is out but would more than likely be available if we make the final.

I have this sneaky feeling that we should unleash Sergie Rebrov. He has done next to nothing all season, but I get a very odd feeling that he could play a big role in the playoffs.

If Zamora does nothing in the 1st leg and Teddy is still injured, I reckon the Ukrainian could be the "X" factor

Stay tuned................
