"The basic argument could be, well if Tom Swift only gets 10 touches and you know Chad Fletcher can have 25, why don't you play him?

"But Tom Swift is getting less ground time and playing different roles, and we're happy with what he's doing and we think he's living up to our expectations.

"So therefore he stays in the side."

Swift stays and thank god if hes used in an attacking role against Melbourne he might actually show something to all those with the blinkers on.
Tommy had 54 % game time at the weekend.

This time next year Tommy will be getting better while the much respected and admired Fletch will be poolside if not enjoying his WAFL recognition.

What was the point................who was arguing about the merit of playing Tommy???

I thought Swift looked pretty good against the Hawks. He still seems pretty reluctant to kick the ball, due to being run down a couple of time previously I suppose, but he took possession well and kept his head over it well.

There's nothing to be gained by playing Fletcher IMO.

BTW Kerr and Swift both handballed the ball to nobody on the right HBF. The intended recipient was Wirra on both occasions.
