People seem to be tipping a big win for the boys (some on the main board predicting a 12-15 goal win). Are we all that confident?

I think we'll win comfortably, we rarely blow teams away though. 5-8 goal victory me thinks.

I'm not too confident.

Head says big win, heart wants a win - the forward line shouts a scrape-by.

12-15 goal win ?! When was the last time we saw that ..

I say we play our reserves. Just for the lulz.

I'll gamble on that laugh.

But do expect the swan's midfiield to be just too slick and effective. I had zero confidence over the last few games but do see some things about this one which may mitigate our form slump.

Injured players are back, and the track in sydney is not our worst interstate venue. This running game leaves us highly exposed against some sides more than others. Knights, despite his public statments knows that if this relaxed defensive program continues too long he will face a crisis. We are still capable of scoring, but just can not defend the totals against the mountianous scores we have been leaking.

Thats the hopeful side of things. I expect the odds to be fair and my money to stay in my pocket as sydney should win but have more interest in this game than the past few.

Here's to a competitive game:thumbsu:

Despite the fact that Essendon is tanking and have a rubbish coach, I'm not particularly confident. I'll take any kind of win, but I'd prefer if it wasn't our trademark trail all day and fall over the line gameplan.

I don't know why but I'm not even worried about the match, and that's a bad bad sign. However, I'm even more worried about the fact that if we do win and we don't win by more than 40 points; it'll be a huuuuge concern.

Don't worry Lads someone will pop up and kick 6 or 7 for ya's happens all the time against us
Im kind of hoping its Jarrad McVeigh as he has been a gun this year and we can usually count on him to score atleast 1 or 2 goals a game.

It would be great to see him kick 7 in one game :D

Actually a interesting question would be "When was the last time ANY Swans player kicked 7 goals in one game?"
B. Hall - Round 1 2006 vs. Essendon (I pushed that day out of my head til now :()

...prior to that it was:

B. Hall - Round 19 2005 vs. Essendon
B. Hall - Round 16 2005 vs. Melbourne
B. Hall - Round 21 2002 vs. Melbourne
B. Hall - Round 22 2002 vs. Carlton
T. Lockett - Round 20 1999 vs. Adelaide

Well there you go, shows we don't have much chance of anyone kicking 7.
I wonder if we could get Plugger out of retirement till Big Bad is back!

Looks like Mcveigh and Fletcher will be coming back as they both completed a heavy training run yesterday. Mcveigh should give us a bit of grunt in the middle but your stronger midfieders should take the clearances easy, I also see Bolton shutting Lloyd out of the game :(. Good Luck hopefully its a good game but I doubt it
