Trengove shouldn't be considered unfortunately, too slow.
Bring Stretch in and flick Bernie Vince. Have loved what he's done for us in the last few years but the game has gone past him unfortunately.
The one thing he had was pretty good disposal.
His insistence to keep using his left sh*ts me.
Don't get me wrong, it's ok as far as opposite foot kicking goes but he lacks penetration and fluffs it too often.
That kick into the centre of the ground with 30 seconds to go in the quarter which Cyril intercepted and almost cost us a goal was one of the most hideous plays of the day from a senior player who should know better.
Then took him far too long to kick it inside 50 approaching full time and give us a go at dobbing a late goal.
Sorry Bernie but I reckon the game has gone past you.

Bernie is far too senior to keep having these undisciplined acts too. I think it was in the 2nd qtr - ball was trapped in their defensive 50, but Bernie smacked a bloke off the ball and they got a downfield free kick.

So Kent laid the same amount of tackles for Casey in one game that JKH laid in 3 at AFL level



For anyone reading this, my frustration at JKH being picked isn't his fault. I'm pissed off at the poor selection that in my opinion has cost us both the Richmond and Hawthorn games.

Had one bad game and was dropped, which kinda goes against some of our previous selections in the year. Not denying Kent needs to work on his tackling but was out after one bad game.

JKH surely goes out. If we don't bring in Kent at least bring in Kennedy. Would like to see Stretch come back in. Hannan and Bugg look like they are vulnerable to missing out this week also.

Clearly he was doing something that the coach didn't. The problem is that Kent falls into the 'flanker' type of player and our list is now full of them. We can't play them all.

I dont say this with any degree of confidence but historically this is the kind of game we would come out and win.

Just when the supporters think they've had enough. Just when we've come to accept the state of our team we'll shock everyone and win a game no one expected. And we'll all flock back just to be humiliated by Norf.
