Going by the social media suggestion theory the Kentpaigner should be back in this week.

Plapp's assessment

Dean Kent: Dean had 18 possessions, seven tackles and kicked 1.1. It wasn’t the type of game where Kenty wasn’t able to show all of his strengths, because of the conditions. But the one pleasing thing out of Kenty’s game – that we were most pleased about – was his forward pressure. His ability to impact ground balls and put the opposition under pressure created opportunities for us. It’s been two weeks now that Kenty has played the way we want him to. He certainly puts his name up for AFL selection this week.

Sounds like exactly what the coaches wanted, would be v surprised if he doesn't play this week.

Goodwin praised Bernie Vince’s effort to reach 200 AFL games this round and said he was a much-loved figure among the Adelaide and Melbourne fans.
“It’s fantastic for Bern. He came into AFL footy a little bit older and a little bit rough around the edges, but he developed and really became an elite player – not only at Adelaide, but also since he’s been at Melbourne,” he said.

“So, 200 games is a credit to what he’s been able to achieve, and I know the players are keen to play really well for Bernie this weekend.

“I know his family is looking forward to it and he’s got a big contingent going – I think he’s asked for 40 tickets. It should be a pretty big Bernie Vince support crew.

“Everyone loves Bernie, so he’ll be received really well. He gave the Adelaide footy club a great period of performance and he’s much-loved in the city of Adelaide, so he’ll be well received by the supporters there.”

So pretty clear that Bernie won't be dropped this week.

Social media theory is strong.

I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate JKH on a wonderful career at the MFC; you were here for our worst, and we'll remember you when we're at our best.

Actually, we probably won't, but whatever, get out.
