Harry and lester in witho walker/adams out no way we play someone who hasn't played yet this yr so only chances are likes of hinge squizzy Alison Smith bastinac robertson apologise if forgot someone.

I have a weird feeling if CL goes well, we may debut him to give ourselves an extra midfield rotation and move Robinson to the wing and Bailey into the backline. The more midfield rotations the better against the Dogs.

I hope that the players give it to Schache if he plays next week. We need to thrash Footscray and let Schache know what he is missing at Brisbane.

Dogs another tough opponent, been generally in form for a few weeks, beat Geelong a few weeks ago too, usually travel well as a team
Not another danger game !

Watching the NEAFL, I'd be looking at one of Basti, Starc or Lyons in for Witho.

Basti has a monster game in the NEAFL against a good opposition, I wouldn't count him out just yet, especially if we want experience in the team come finals.

Giving Freo a touchup. Danger game for us next week

Every game is a danger game and tbh I wouldn't have it any other way. The last thing we want is to find ourselves in a position where we think wins will just happen.

We've hit that 13 game mark and even the most disciplined player would have finals in the back of the mind. It's a real challenge to get everyone focused for this week in a match we should supposedly win comfortably.

This is a different kind of test for us.

Hawks defeated Geelong last week, we defeated Hawks, ergo we defeat Dogs by 50+.

That will be the Suns game IMO, they will come out breathing fire in their Grand Final although we will have plenty of time to turn things around and register a comfortable win in the end.

We actually have something to prove to Footscray this week after our insipid performance earlier in the season. I think we will not only win, but we will dismantle them.

That was by no means an insipid performance!
It was a loss, yes!
Insipid? No!

Yo what games have you been watching? Robinson has played wing all year 😂

Problem with Lyons he won’t offer anything up forward at AFL level. With Neale JLyons Zorko Berry Hugh rolling through we need to bring in blokes that can have an impact up forward and the wing.

Genuinely shocked at the Robinson comment I think you need to watch more closely.

Will be another guy that can play defence come in. Notice when Witho went down Bailey went back - one of the wingers have to be able to play backline for this exact reason. If Squizzy/Basti etc came in who would go into the backline if another injury occurred to Noah, Hodge, Rich?

Will be a toss up between Nick Robbo/Allison/Starcevich

Yep, I'm warming to the idea of sending Bailey to defense full time for this game and bringing in a mid, the Bulldogs strength is their midfield.

Options-

A- Lewy Taylor comes in and plays his wing gut running role and Berry plays a more inside game.
B- One of Corey Lyons/Ryan Bastinac/Rhys Matheison.
C- Toby Wooller comes in and he and Cam Rayner rotate fwd/mid.

With Bailey in I think you'll find Robbo and Clugg rotated off the wing. If we were to bring in Lyons it would be with the idea of keeping Hugh and Mitch on the wings.

Lyons showed today in the toughest NEAFL game of the year that he can hit the scoreboard. The Dogs midfield bats very deep so rotations are very important.

With all that said, I think Starc is a lock for next week. Looked very good.
