It is going to be a genuine wet weather game with a presumably really heavy deck.

Darcy would actually genuinely be useful if we could trust him to hold up.
Ditto Fyfe, just feels way too early for him as others have said.

The weather conditions, the early game time on a Saturday, and our injury outs made it a perfect game to bring both Brodie and Aish in, and OMac.

Play small, slow and if it doesn't work perfectly not the end of the world.

Instead we bring an out of form Draper back to line up on big bodies in the wet, plus both Darcy and Fyfe underdone with virtually no AFL quality match conditioning for either of them.

I hope the approach works. If Darcy, Fyfe and one other player get injured it really will impact our whole season far more than we needed to risk.

Brodie ain’t coming back. Do you watch Peel.

I agree Draper hasn’t been great at Peel but this game has a real similar feel to that Sydney win last year where Draper came in for Pearce off ordinary WAFL form but then played like purebred offspring of McPharlin and Michael Johnson. Hopefully he can pull off another game like that.

I reckon Fyfe is strong odds to be sub.

Can’t understand the Darcy inc. he needs some games at Peel.

70mm of rain in a day is actually unreal, when was the last time WA had that in a week haha...

This sounds like enough rain its an absolute shitfest and a complete toss up. Great chance to pinch 4 points with a bye to recover

A win and we are well and truly in touch with the top 4 heading into the bye
