Lmac for all his flaws, has credits in the bank and has not put a foot wrong this year. Hardeman only won his spot late last year and is far from as cemented in the 22 as LMAC whether we like it or not.

Hopefully goes well at VFL level and plays next week as I think there is a spot for him.

Just saying, not sure what people wanted or expected this week considering the VFL form last week.

Re Lmac, I didn’t think he’d be best 23 at the start of the year. But with Parker going back I think it’s freed him up and he’s had the best start to a season i can remember. Against * he was 2nd for metres gained (426) behind Colby. By comparison Chom had -4 and CCJ -3. Solid and dependable he’s been.
Very nervous about tomorrow simply due to no Xerri. Having been to training during the week I felt they had to pull the trigger on Goad. He looked good. 40% game time would have been enough. CCJ be the ruckman none of us think you are

Wouldn't be surprised one bit, Finn to run with Walsh, Luke and Harry to be our two other main midfielders to start off with, their backline is their weakness but kicking it up in the air for Weitering to mark it time and time again has to be discussed in the team meeting, we can put them to the sword in a manner that might catch a lot of people unawheres, but we must attack full stop, they have to worry about Colby, Harry, Finn, LDU, the warlord and Trembath who I think will have a big impact.

Not wanting this to be an LMAC pile on, but IMO he looks solid this year because he is being asked to do less and Parker covers a lot of flaws (both him and others). We have struggled big time with transition at times again this year and Hardeman offers that in spades with solid 1 on 1 work. Doesn't have to be LMAC, but in reality the sooner Hardeman is back in the team the better and Luke is most definitely one of the most likely in the gun to achieve that. In all honesty I think the injury to Hardeman has made it a bit too easy for them to shirk a couple of tough calls.
