Yep. Message was sent with him being subbed out. Coaches have backed him in to respond, let's see if he does. You’d have to assume Clarko was satisfied that Kerch took the feedback of his game and wants to give him a second chance. He’s a second year player, and kids are going to have off games. I was expecting him to play VFL this week, but hope he comes out and backs up Clarko and the selectors by showing it was a one off.
The McKays sounds like a horrible team to play in.If they weren't gonna start Hardehamenen in the 22 then he's better off playing in the mckays and getting a full game.
Goater in the Tucker role.Nice looking side on paper.
The wings are super young and that’s probably part of us fluctuating in games.
But you can only imagine Finn and Kerch in a few years.
I like what we’re doing get all the high end talent in……really missing someone like Goater in the Tucker position
At least, more like 5 years.Yep. Message was sent with him being subbed out. Coaches have backed him in to respond, let's see if he does.
Those demanding a blood sacrifice every week are going to be disappointed.
Don't forget the Bard used to back them in for more than 5 weeks back in the day when players were in poor form.

I think he’s been thrown around a bit too much for a second year player. As a result he has been inconsistent. Certainly don’t think he’s been poor besides last week.Do you think McKercher has been good this year? Good enough to keep his spot?
Or are you just keeping him on this supposed potential ?
And gutless with himHad to. Treacle slow without him.
'The Fraud Squad'I think he’s been thrown around a bit too much for a second year player. As a result he has been inconsistent. Certainly don’t think he’s been poor besides last week.
I wouldn’t be dropping him after one poor game, no.
As per my previous post, I’m keeping him in the side (not just because he is best 22, despite one poor game) because his strength is literally the oppositions weakness. Hence why I think your commentary about the sky falling if he isn’t dropped this week, is f*kn stupid.
It’s on the coaches to put the second year player in a position to use this strength more often, which IMO they haven’t done this year. He has been left to rot on a flank for periods.
If you’re so desperate for selection integrity after one game, get Tucker, Stephens, Daniel, McDonald and Fisher the f*** out of the 22.
I'm not prepared to label him that until he's at least 20. He's no Archer, sure, but he's a damn fine player and I hope he plays a blinder today. And gutless with him
Good plan. Make it happen Euge. Most likely wont happen but we need to have this game sown up by 3/4 time so Wardlaw can sit out the remaining 1/4 on the bench uninjured....
I’d just settle for having it wrapped up by 3/4 time. Most likely wont happen but we need to have this game sown up by 3/4 time so Wardlaw can sit out the remaining 1/4 on the bench uninjured....
If you dont look at the backlineNice looking side on paper.

been the best on so farSo we're tagging their tagger?
Self inflicted and deserved.Uninspiring changes as usual, he continues to reward his favorites who are playing shit footy. That's ok, the coach will simply feel the consequences of this tomorrow when we get belted.
Pathetic.Self inflicted and deserved.
Yeah this selection carousel is getting really ****ing disheartening.
for a win this week because shits gonna get ugly otherwise.
And how did it work out.....This is a massive game for our club. On paper we should be able to push Blues and they don't have the sort of outside run that really exposes us.
A bad performance will leave nowhere to hide. Especially with some tough games to come.
So form lines stack up pretty well so far in 2025.
Very few upsets.
Saints have had a couple.
Port over Hawks is one, albeit at home.
Geelong over Crows.
Otherwise it’s been pretty straightforward.
The obvious one is Carlton’s loss to Richmond, but that match aside they stuck with Hawthorn and faded late, faded once more against the Dogs and lost to the Pies by 3 goals.
Then took care of West Coast.
Our form stacked up well for the first 3 rounds and then has nose dived the past two weeks.
Whilst I have some slight optimism, the feeling I get about Carlton is similar to the Sydney game.
Not playing their best and missing a few but their form isn’t as bad as the media suggests.
We’re up against it.
Nothing will be easy for us.
Every team we play will be looking to get a win because they will all be aware that if they bring enough pressure we are likely to break and if we break we can be scored against very heavily really quickly.
Nothing will change until we change our own perception of what we are as a football team.
Carlton will be absolutely raring to go at us Friday.
Like clockwork.Agree. Take the North glasses off for a second... 1 win from 6 after a loss to us is an absolutely diabolical result for Carlton.
They'll be amped up for a win.
Too right broGet smashed in this and it'll test even the most rusted on to keep fronting up.
