I was shocked when he stood under a high ball and took the mark in front of the pack. I had to rub my eyes. Has he turned the corner? We'll see but I hope he has because his delivery is so needed by the team

But that role is always up for debate

I agree that sub is a great role for him. I think his coming on with 30 to 40 minutes to play, when the opposition players have spent a fair few tickets and lost half a yard of pace, makes his pace and running ability a much bigger weapon.

I think we can be much more strategic about who we choose as sub, and how we use them.

Still, suggesting RHJ be dropped is just dumb.

I know you've banged the CCJ drum for 5 long years.
I hope he is retained tbh. Not sure where he fits into the mix, and happy for him to ply his trade in the VFL for the rest of the season.

We've seen Dylan Stephens make a huge step forward in that area of the game, and he is probably the most improved player at our club. McKercher seems to have increased his courage/physicality as well.

Perhaps we really do have a hardness whisperer at the club. A role that is also handy in the pr0n industry - stern look.
