Ainsworth will likely be instructed to sacrifice his game and cover ground. He might rest forward; would be nice to see a few tackles.

For the barrage of games coming up, I figure the MC prefers him over another debutant.

There's a good chance that we could see another fresh face soon, though. Could make a strong case to do it now.

Not sure what’s the go with Jetta now. I was happy for him to sit and wait, the current backline had more than earned consistent selection, but this is an odd one.

Gov for Duggan, Rotham going to Dug’s spot I don’t mind. Still just thought Jetta would be in the frame.

Ainsworth forward again, ****ing **** yeah. Joy. He’d better tag or it’s a complete waste.

Can only think wet weather with Ainsworth...even then wouldn’t they bring in Bradshaw?
Brayshaw is like Priddis. I doubt we will debut him unless a couple of inside mids are injured. Ainsworth has decent running ability so I guess they favour him to do an outside/defensive space filler role.

If that's our match committees sole expectations of Ainsworth, then they may as well hand him the number 7 jumper next year.

Who doesn’t love the good old “Lets drop him because he isn’t good enough” Followed by recalling him only a week later in the hope he’s learnt how to kick (or play football) in that time. Surely if someone is dropped for bad form they aren’t the first back in (especially if they are an inside midfielder and the persok they’re replacing is a link up forward).

You’d think someone like O’Neill has a better scope to play whatever role Cameron was playing with Reid taking Jakey’s spot.

So McGovern comes back and Rotham takes on a more mobile role this week in Duggan's absence.

Reid would appear to be more suited to cover for Waterman's injury.

Ainsworth in is the interesting one: with Cameron's low production in recent matches and the lack of available small forward quality, perhaps we shall see more of the top line midfield rotating and spending time up forward with Ainsworth playing a sweeping role in conjunction with Nelson.

Players get injured at training all the time. Its not just a WCE thing

Aside from Josh Kennedy missing games due to a tennis ball in the eye, didn't someone else from memory miss a match because they stood on a sting ray during a recovery session?

Or the time both Kerr and Embley somehow got injured and missed the game during the warm-up of a derby?

We must be unbelievable unlucky because you can't make this stuff up 😂

Will reid get a few games or out next week?

Was he dropped for bad form or was it because premiership midfielder Jack Redden came back from injury?

Surely the sweeping role requires a basic set of foot skills at a minimum.

Jetta’s at least an emergency, for the second straight week, so the MC hasn’t completely put a line through his name.

Rotham would’ve been unlucky to lose his spot and he’s pretty versatile so I think it makes sense to slide him into Duggan’s role rather than make two changes to the backline

Waterman out..... fold my account

I had 3 mil on him for the Brownlow
