They didn’t have enough tall forwards last time and Chom killed them as he was free to intercept. Hope he gets the chance to do that again.

If Chom is fit and Larkey and Darling both miss I think he has to play forward, otherwise it’s May’s turn to intercept all day.

Tough week at selection. McDonald, Comben and Parker are all automatic ins. I hope Larkey plays. Outside of that not sure how it lands. I’d like to see Payne and Banch debut over the closing rounds but would expect those to be staggered. Think Hansen Jr drops back to the 2s and not sure Duursma did enough. Difficult calls to be made on Harvey and Scott despite them being reasonable contributors last week. Logue out.

Xerri Vs Gawn will be a spectacle to see.

Melksham's been scoring them for fun the past fornight. Needs the Pink treatment.
Keeping Kozzy quiet will be key for us to win.

Who matches up against Oliver? He had a pretty good battle with Dawson against Adelaide.

Hopefully May has an off day
just let him kick the ball and cover ur head.

he kicks the ball like scott.

What will our forward line look like with no Larkey and Darling? Bring CCJ alongside Maley or switch Comben / Dawson fwd?
I suspect CCJ would be in especially with question marks over X. BUT gee I'd love to see Comben come in and go to the goal square. Would be ringing alarm bells how to match up on him.....AND you know he and Finnbar are going to create an aerial presence to create headaches and opportunities for zurhaar, Curtis and Others.

I’d like to see Logue forward. Would match up well on May - needs to make sure the ball comes to ground rather than let them intercept all day. Give him a role and see if he can turn things around.

the following announcement comes from heaven....

Respectfully I think I'd stick with Chom back (if fit) given his interruptions. Better options would be to restructure, play smaller by brining in Banch / Payne off good form or even get Logue to earn his keep up there.

Without Pickett = agree
With Pickett = disagree

Well apparently you can just elbow him in the head if he tries to tackle so that will sort that out.

We are $4.55 to Melbourne's $1.20 this week. FFS, do the bookmakers know something we don't and Xerri and Larkey will both miss? I know Melbourne has been doing ok lately but these odds are crazy given there is half a game between the two sides, we're 2 out of 2 at the MCG this season and we've beaten them by 10 goals and have done ok against them last couple of years

Thought the same thing. The outs might dampen my hope a little but I honestly think we are a chance.

Similar odds in r2 wasn't it?

As a Melbourne supporter I fell over when I saw those odds.
Was expecting North to be about $2.20

We've done stuff all lately to deserve to be $1.20.

And it sounds like North will have an abundance of inclusions this week and Xerri and Larkey will surely play.
