I don’t disagree but Clarko is very much one for stability, he’s never going to make sweeping changes. Logue and Corr are good outs. I really hope Riley Hardeman gets a full game and makes the most of his opportunity.Mckercher dropped would have made a statement
Kids been really disappointing and needs a wake up call
Zurhaar - Drop this bloke very conditional player

Thank god port don’t have a dangerous key forward because that backline doesn’t have a single key position lockdown defender. I thought the whole point was to get some synergy going - this combination will be badly exposed against pretty much any other team so even if it goes alright this week it’s not a sustainable mix. Would have loved to have seen Phillips in as well.
Tall marking for Darren Harris and top notch defender Michael MurphyNeed outside run Mario Turco and Justin Staritki
The best bit is, Port do have dangerous key forwards lol. Georgiades is a real talent. Lord a bit behind him but is good tooSo what you are saying is that the team we have selected is suited to play Port…and your argument is we should have picked a side suited for other teams?
It doesn’t particularly suit port either but it’s probably the one team it might be less catastrophic against and even if it does hold up it won’t against other sides so it’s not sustainable and backline isn’t getting the synergy the coaching team are always harping on about! So what you are saying is that the team we have selected is suited to play Port…and your argument is we should have picked a side suited for other teams?
And Georgiades and Finlayson with only Dawson and Comben to cover the three of them.Jesus.
They look more like spectators than players! At least he tries to be attacking with the ball. Corr and Logue are statues when we have the ball.

Would prefer it against a team like RichmondI rate Georgiades. He is a gun. Lord would be playing ressies if they had anyone else. I rated him massively, but he p00 currently. (As I said, after saying this he is a chance to kick 8). But if Lord gets on top of us, it’s probably cause they are dominating everywhere else, and we could have Stephen Silvarni playing on him, and it would make no difference.
Out of all weeks to have Comben and Dawson as our only key backs, this week is probably fine. They will destroy us everywhere else
The midfield is the issue yet none of those unaccountable squibs get dropped.
Going into a game with Dawson & Comben as your key defenders is gifted the opposition a 5 goal head start imo.

It's first team footy, they can all playThe best bit is, Port do have dangerous key forwards lol. Georgiades is a real talent. Lord a bit behind him but is good too
Corr has been untouchable for FAR to long. He had a reasonable year last year but he should have been in the Twos many times. We paid him a packet to transfer so I reckon the selectors were too embarrassed to drop him.Logue was an obvious one. Corr's omission makes very little sense given Georgiades, Finlayson and Lord will all be playing. They showed vision of one shit effort from him but I didn't think he was that bad. Definitely should've been others in the firing line
Would prefer it against Richmond and/or Essendon. Could easily see the pair of them killing us with contested marks in the first quarter and a half, causing us, as is tradition, to completely give up. Finlayson can take a grab too.
Gonna be ugly
Couple of ways to look at that. He's been the one key pillar constant in that defence. Through COVID, through Nobles, through Rattens, through Clarksons.Corr has been untouchable for FAR to long.
