I don’t think Goad will play, but will travel with the team as an emergency. Between X & JD we should be ok in the ruck (Trembath and Matlock being the key forwards while JD rucks)

I would just love to see our boys play well and have a good home game win. Bring in Whitlock, Goad, even Lunacy, cause there's no use of playing our main squad when their is 2 weeks left of footy. Just experiment with the young boys and see how we go.

In a world where they all reach their potential, a Larkey, Trembath, Whitlock, Zurhaar, Curtis forward line is a nice balance. Especially if we can add a pressuring goal-sneak type to it.

my only concern is who second rucks in that situation?

Won't be as much of a problem if they go 5 on the bench and piss the sub rule off

I think you're over estimating the importance of the second ruckman. Not sure they are ever the deciding factor in the outcome of a game.
