Sunday twilight game in Hobart in May. 440pm start.
I'd wager by opening bounce the temperature will be no higher than 12~ degrees celcius. By half time it'll be single digits. Meanwhile the weather forecast for Brisbane all week is mid 20s and full sun.
Maaaaaaaaaaaybe because Brisbane will have been training in warm sunny conditions, they'll struggle in the cold and won't be able to kick 25 goals against us?
Please?

If you want to lower the stakes somewhat, I can imagine us winning our first Q1 of the year here lol
In typical North fashion a win turned itself into a loss.
Updating this based on today's VFL game;
OUT: Archer (inj), Dawson (omit), Darling (omit/rest), Scott (omit)
IN: Wardlaw, Fisher, Pink, Harvey
That was an honourable mention in the top 10 worst north performances of the decade. Ironic that Jack Darling missed a soda to put them within a goal in the last 5 mins.I think this won't be as bad as we think, similar to the Port game. Tigers week after is a ****ing mess like when we nearly lost to the covid top up WCE in Melbourne and celebrated winning
That Covid top up WC “win” should’ve sent up red flags everywhere on how we were travelling as a team/club. YukThat was an honourable mention in the top 10 worst north performances of the decade. Ironic that Jack Darling missed a soda to put them within a goal in the last 5 mins.
Reckon you're onto something ... and perhaps why its scheduled when and where it is ..... pretty sure all of us supporters are in dire need of a rest!This is yet another game (similar to Adelaide game in round 3) that is unwinnable for us, so it's just tempting to take a 40 point loss (if we could somehow keep the margin to that) and move on.
Anyone who needs a rest should be rested this week. Anyone in any doubt at all shouldn't be playing. Just get it over with and move on.
Username checks outEmbracing the absurdist theory that we're so unlikely, that we just might...
Maybe stay the night in Hobart, special treat for the kidsIts really ****en ridiculous. There are people who go to these games to watch footy, not us. (Tho less since we've been bad cos its not worth watching.) But they'd still probably want to see the premiers play. It means no one too far North of Hobart can go without ****ing around or driving home at night on what will be icy roads.

With the chill factor it will be 2deg by three quarter timeYup that's what I said earlier in the week;
Here's the updated forecast for Hobart;

To anyone with a pair of eyes loosely connected to a brain, it did.That Covid top up WC “win” should’ve sent up red flags everywhere on how we were travelling as a team/club. Yuk
I was there and felt the same as did a lot of supporters at the ground. Rick commented on it when we beat the Eagles in 40 degree heat the year after. We won by less but we showed more heart and soul winning a nailbiter than we did the year prior against a WAFL team let's be frank.To anyone with a pair of eyes loosely connected to a brain, it did.
Never felt so absolutely dejected after a win. Only a couple of losses that year topped it
