Tucker has to go, the only player on the field that looked to have no intensity of effort. Even Daniel showed this but had a mare. They set the expectations in the backline last week and now need to follow up.Look we are not going to drop out Captain as much as most of us would consider it deserved.
If Harvey plays another decent game in the 2's and our fwd line is not performing then give him a game game after this one even tho I'd love a Harvey kick a small bag against these flogs.
Tucker although not setting the world on fire he's been ok this season as much as people use him as a whipping boy but today can definitely warrant a drop if you are only coasting along. We do need to keep our mature age players in the line up unless they are just that bad...it's just difficult who to bring in that is going to change much other than just being a punishment 'dropping' for the AFL player
Out (candidates): Daniel, Tucker, Dawson
In: Corr (shouldnt have been dropped), Pink
Well it is in Adelaide so every metre walked, swam, ran, or crawled is pure garbage
311km run as a team today. Not sure if it is accurate, but would make it the 2nd most of all time. is a concern going into a 5 day break. Boys will need to rest up.

The Curtis Taylor gameplan.Number 4 renders it as a useless stat. Totally meaningless. Probably the only instance of a team running more kilometres than possessions gained (291). I reckon that meant we spent the afternoon running to where the ball wasn't, or running after the ball and not getting it. A bit like Aaron Hall's metres gained record - pointless.
Out: Tucker, Zurhaar, Daniel
In: Phillips, Ford, Scott
Agree. I'm keen to get Ford back in where an opportunity presents - we need more <25 but not raw players into the team but I also wouldn't be rushing him from injury for both his and our sakes. Not sure Ford will get the call-up yet given that the club probably wants to see him get through a VFL game before he comes back from his injury. Didn't participate in the match-sim at Thursday's training, and no VFL game this weekend.
Bailey Scott hasn't come close to earning a recall yet for my money. Against Carlton last week he had the ball 21 times which sounds okay, but if you watched the game he didn't really have much impact with his touches, for my money. I know this isn't a fantastic indicator, but take a look at the Coaches Votes from that game and consider the fact that Bailey got the 4th highest disposals for our team, but didn't register a single vote;

Why cease dropping underperforming seniors now?
Out: Tucker (0 touches) Daniel(offers nothing) Mcdonald( brainless leadership) Simpkin (number 1 chain ruiner)
Keep the statements coming boys.

Tucker is easy and obvious. I don't think they'll be going overboard with other mid sized players as I think they will be likely to rest Darling potentially. I think the standard needs to be intensity, effort and physicality. The odd brain fart poor disposal amongst this I think can be forgiven.
Fisher has played more senior football than Ford - and it arguably backfired given he went straight back out. You don't rush a player like Ford unless a clear structural weakness (ruck, tall or we lose other mid sized marking forwards).I thoght we brought in Fisher in the same situation?
All fair points. But Tucker, Zurhaar and Danieal didn't exactly perform V Port either. Not sure Ford will get the call-up yet given that the club probably wants to see him get through a VFL game before he comes back from his injury. I don't think they add enough to have their spot cemented or that we would lose much by not having them in the team.
Zurhaar isn’t getting dropped same goes for DanielOut: Tucker, Zurhaar, Daniel
In: Phillips, Ford, Scott
That Dawson did okOut: dawson
In: logue
And give us a second ruck (Finnbar or teakle) in for a small (lmac)
I know you're right. Dropping Zurhaar and Daniel would be admitting the list management team screwed up.Zurhaar isn’t getting dropped same goes for Daniel
Scott in Tucker out
Phillips to play in VFL to end of the year same goes for Ford
Out: dawson
In: logue
And give us a second ruck (Finnbar or teakle) in for a small (lmac)
In the first quarter Carlton were all over the VFL thru the middle. Scott stopped that after he was given that job.Not sure Ford will get the call-up yet given that the club probably wants to see him get through a VFL game before he comes back from his injury.
