like a few of the folks here, i find the dropping of polec baffling, however if it is Bonar replacing him, i hope he gets an extended run in the centre. If he doesn't, i'll be sorely disappointed in the selection committee/Shaw for not trying it at all. If he does, while i don't expect him to get 20+ possessions and look a superstar off the bat, if he shows none of the aspects we were all excited about at the time of the trade, then i'd find it a bit more justified why they'd been playing him outside the midfield thus far

What message is it sending?

We drop one of our best last week and that sends the message to the poor players that they can be dropped even though they haven’t been dropped and are playing again?

if you want to send a message to the “passengers” then drop the “passengers”

How is this not just rewarding mediocrity?

Attley and JMac must have serious evidence of something. Polec hasn't been a star week in week out but he was good against the Blues.
Spot on. Real amateurish to make an example of Polec when there have been worse performers and contributors. Those 2 in particular.

Poor coaching. Again.

Jesus. Stop the presses. Get █████, Xi Jinping, Putin on a conference call. Put the world-wide-pandemic on hold ! ! ! Fax Tedros Adhanom.
North Melbourne have dropped Polec and Brown ! Goofball Maher & everyone's hero inner suburban Bob have just done a 20 minute editorial on it.

Big deal.

What does someone like Murphy need to do to get a game?
Miss tackles, fall over, kick to the opposition and give away silly free kicks.
That should put him in the mix.

In all seriousness, I can't believe we haven't see more of this kid.

There must be more to it than meets the eye. Polec hasn't been great this year but was one of our best last week. He does have a chronic foot issue so could be being managed. Not sure why they wouldn't just say so if that was it.

Or the more logical explanation that there's a conspiracy underfoot. Why did Jasper really f$#% up Polec's chance to put us in front at three quarter time last week (and then not get dropped while Polec did)?!? Are we trying to tank and Polec isn't on board?

I think it's expecting too much for Maj to come in, play full forward, and kick goals, for his first game back in nearly 2 years. Should ease him in down back behind the ball.
It's great to have Maj back. He should be good in the air and clunk a few.
But after so long out, he'll be sucking in the big ones like a Bangkok ladyboy when the US Navy's in town!

Bang on, just do not understand it.

Has to be related to the job on Cripps on the weekend but even then that was never going to work.
