Goldstein needs to play out of his skin since all I’m hearing today that Nic Nat has moved ahead of him after hearing Bruce blowing his junket in his pants today then hearing how great Grundy is going this year then just hearing Gerald Healy -an original North hater from the 90s rambling on how that Deliverence wanna dumb boy Gawn is the best ruck in the game.

Actually he's only our 4th best meters gained player.... and 47th in the league (Taz is our best, and 21st in the league). Polec has been subpar most of the year. Been a bit bewildering really, some of his kicks each week have been shameful.

Was more referring to his probability of leading metres gained on a given day. It's an indictment against our outside players that key position players are leading this category this season.

I've been trying to understand why and the only thing I can think of is that they wanted to get Polec to change his mindset to defend better by giving him the responsibility for tagging Cripps? Polec has a tendency to be a one-way runner. I'm probably grasping at straws here, but that's the only explanation I can think of.....

We get our only early draft picks in forever, in a year where there's no junior comp.....just our luck. We'll probably pick the kid who was amazing in 2019, but spent all of the 2020 lockdown getting on the bongs.....

I think we go in with 12 players. If questioned we're not tanking, we're aggressively rebooting a culture by refusing to accept mediocrity.

Haven't seen many on board with your "Rhyce was a mistake" posts, which is saying something, given how short sighted a lot people around here are. Even in seasons where you can train as a group more than once per week, where you don't lose months with a season suspension and where you don't have a ridiculous injury list, it usually takes time for a coach to have a team playing the way they want. Rhyce is a rookie. Many of our assistants coaches are new as well. You may be right in the long run but it's laughably early to be calling this.
