Jacobs a late in for Ziebell. I have a sauce. We all know
Out: Ziebell
In: Cunnington
Zurhaar's ankle will fall off on Thursday morning, Turner will get named and his foot will explode in the pregame warm up, and LDU and Larkey will play another scratch match
Cunnington will play about six minutes before his back gives away and we have to play him in the goalsquare
At least in the 80’s we had St.Kilda as a 4pt bye. We don’t even have that nowadaysWe lost 10 straight through the last 5 of 2016 and first 5 of 2017.
I've been asking myself, it's this the worst North side I've ever seen? I'm in my late 40s so my memory spans back to the early 80. In '84 we just missed the spoon by percentage. We only won 5 games but the relatively good percentage came through staying in games and rarely being thrashed. A different era but we still averaged nearly 100pts a game. In 2017 we had to win the last game to avoid the spoon but lost a lot of close games.
I can't recall a more insipid, disorganised and uncompetitive North side than this one. In the past I always had the feeling we could snag a win here or there, maybe bounce back from poor losses with a random win. I don't get that feeling with this team now. They are the dictionary definition of hopeless.

What exactly has been diagnosed for Tarryn ? TBC could mean anything, when does Brady do the injury update video ?
There you go using logic on BF again. Get over yourself LtK.Perhaps it's been published because it accurately represents the current situation?
And if it wasn't published, there would be a chorus of howls from posters here, bemoaning the fact that the club never provides us with injuries information.

What?Is it true you board kept taking up a player off the rookie list that didn't exist, then the herald sun reported on them?
If so link?

That is fantasticCan't recall that, but years ago, a poster here made up the story that we were looking to do a swap for Patrick Veszpremi from Sydney (might have been for Gav Urquhart?). Zero truth in the rumour but we discussed it as if true for a while and it did get reported by the H-S.

Early prognosis
It's pure carnage at Arden St, with no club suffering more on the injury front. Coach Rhyce Shaw said Ziebell reinjuring the hamstring that kept him out for the previous fortnight was "bad luck" rather than mismanagement. Zurhaar was a late withdrawal from Saturday night's game but should be right to return, while Anderson will be close as well. Hayden's status will be guided by how he fares in the concussion protocols after coming off second-best in a collision with Tiger Tom Lynch. Simpkin played out the match after in-game treatment. The likes of Nick Larkey, Luke Davies-Uniacke and Kayne Turner are increasing their output post-injury in scratch games. - Marc McGowan

I'm in nostalgia mode (my apologies) hence my earlier Boomer post on drilling passes like tracer bullets.
Does anyone else miss Firrito?
I know he had brain fades, certainly no champion, but bloody hell I liked him. Genuine shinboner.
Flew the flag for his mates, never flinched a contest, straight lined the ball, and got the best out of his ability.
I want more of this in our current squad.
Miss Spud for sure, and his partner in crime Scotty Thompson a bit more.I'm in nostalgia mode (my apologies) hence my earlier Boomer post on drilling passes like tracer bullets.

The test is to see if the rest of the team can pick him in a line up.At least Dom Tyson is listed as test which means he is available for selection. That’s a positive.
That is fantastic![]()
As mentioned above.
Same poster also 'created' the rumour that Julian Assange was a North supporter when his case blew up and we ran with it for a week or so.
Was reported in the media after a week or so regarding him being a North supporter.
